This team isn't that good
Beating the Titans and Texans means nothing. Indy handed us a W. Now we're getting manhandled by a shorthanded SF team, McVay and Shula getting schooled
8-9 win team tops.

This is not a bad team, but something is very wrong. What has happened to Corum’s hands the past two weeks? What’s with the ridiculous mistakes?

They’re a fringe playoff team. Same as last couple years. Division is better so they may not get in.Henry VIII wrote: ↑October 2nd, 2025, 7:20 pmDude do you ever have a positive post? Today was an embarrassment. Manhandled at “home” by an average niner team missing half its roster. That’s a joke.

C'mon guys... im frustrated too. But the team is good, damn good. They just make a bad mistake in each game so far and it's cost them twice. They have a mini bye, im willing to wager that from here on out that bad mistake becomes far and in-between. The Rams will be 12-5 or better... watch...

Re: This team isn't that good
Agree on the manhandled theory - still not a tough physical team . OL is weak and gets smacked around with regularity - Angry desperation focused Baltimore team will bitch slap the Rams next week if they walk out there with this attitude next week. Playoffs are going to very tough to reach this year.

Re: This team isn't that good
In every organization, the “team” takes on the personality of their leader, there are times when McVay’s decision making is very questionable.
Shula to me looks inexperienced and reactive instead of having a well thought out game plan for the defense.
Ultimately, this game was lost by stupid mistakes that McVay doesn’t seem to address with the players.

Re: This team isn't that good
agree it's a bad night but you can't sit here and say this team is good when the 49ers were missing all these player. they had CMC on O and that was it....Shula played a bend don't break D against a QB who was already hurt and look what happened. this loss was beyond embarrassing.CierraRam wrote: ↑October 2nd, 2025, 9:20 pm C'mon guys... im frustrated too. I am glad McVay was pissed in the press conference but this was on him....the play call at the end was awful. I know it's one game but that was a conference game

Re: This team isn't that good
Very good teams do not make tons of mistakes per game . That is exactly what bad teams do .CierraRam wrote: ↑October 2nd, 2025, 9:20 pm C'mon guys... im frustrated too. Re: This team isn't that good
They were 10-7 last year and backed into the playoffs. They are 28-27 since 2022. They beat some good teams and lose some games they should win. They are a slightly above-average team. There was no excuse to lose this game tonight but they did in clown fashion style. That light you see at the end of the tunnel is the flashlight my proctologist lost inside my rectum.

As a person who has led large teams of people, the phrase “taking accountability” means nothing if changes aren’t made.
It’s become the most useless phrase in our culture.

Re: This team isn't that good
I actually completely disagree that they are not very good...
We could easily be 5-0 with a better kicker.
We are too hard on them

Re: This team isn't that good
A dominant team would be blowing the doors off the 49ers, and even the Colts certainly at home. You can’t play 50/50 games at home vs those two teams and still think you are elite.
Rams are an above average team capable of flashing (like they did vs the Bills last year and most of the Eagles game this year), but most weeks they play average football unless the opponent is absolutely terrible.
Texans- mediocre football game
Tennessee- top 3 worst team in the league
Eagles- this was a high level performance
Colts- mediocre football game
49ers- mediocre football game
The DLine is going to need to absolutely dominate given how weak the secondary is, and the Oline will need to keep protecting Stafford at a high level to get the Rams to a championship competing level. Right now they aren’t there

Re: This team isn't that good
The team is a good team but we beat ourselves both in this and the Philly game
Dropped passes, Fumbles, blocked kicks, bad tackling, not changing up the DL gameplan etc

Re: This team isn't that good
This is our typical Sean McVay team, underachieving the first third to half a season. I have no doubt it will turn around, but WHY OH WHY do we have to go through this every year?

Re: This team isn't that good
This is a good team? But we have a bad field goal blocking unit. Is it coaching or bad players on the oline?
If we did not have this problem, we would be 5-0. I don't blame the kicker.
