If McCafferty is healthy, then the 9er running game will be tough. We need to invest in a 3rd round LB in the draft. I'm not worried about Tyler Murray; diminutive QBs don't excite me.
In Stafford we trust.

I would select the best available OT.

While I like the idea of a shut-down CB, we don't want to piss away draft capital or commit to an expensive resource eating contract.

Probably wiser to grab a decent CB in the draft.

Those were the days; tough as nails. We need that mentality now.

I still think of Roman Gabriel and the Fearsome Foursome back in the Coliseum when I was a young lad. Those were the days.

This is also why we drafted another RB in the 3rd round; we need to be able to move the chains on 3rd and three.

No fumbles or hasta la vista baby.

Philly or Detroit; both are on my s--- list for this season.

Oline depth was my biggest concern going into the draft. We still have no OT dependable depth. This should be a high priority during the off season.

Protect Stafford at all costs. Embrace 12 personnel on a regular basis.

Miami needs to pick up half of his current contract, coupled with a 6th or 7th round draft pick. That would be a win for us.

Indeed, the key to opening up the passing attack is the damn oline. I'm wondering if we make it through Training Camp without any serious oline injuries. How we make it through 17 weeks of combat is beyond me with our current depth.

The surest way to enter the Playoffs is a weak schedule. This happens year after year. We need to sweep the 9ers again.

Purdy's success will be tied to the 9ers running game; if their vaunted RB is healthy they will make a go of it.

I want to see our Rams start to dominate each game and regain their collective swagger; it has been missing these past few years.

Glad to hear they are allocating so much of their cap to Purdy; he is NOT a Stafford -type QB; a serviceable journeyman. Let's see what the rest of their old timers can do.

Now is the time for the Rams to stand tall in the Division.

Agreed. Next up is an OT vet. We need one. Ramsey at CB only if we can get a deal.

Fumbles loom big in my mind; decent RBs can be found in the draft. KW is not Barkley and can be replaced.

After giving this potential acquisition considerable thought, and the initial excitement of having a seasoned shut down (yes aging) CB in our secondary, I am now opposed to bringing him in and pissing away our Cap space.

Nothing worries me this season since I am predicting (again) that Rams will go 17-0.

This latest dilemma is why I preferred to grab the best OT available in the 2nd round as opposed to obtaining a nifty TE.

Stafford must be protected at all costs this season; hope we have the horses in our stable to get the job done.
