Re: Finding the Perfect Coverage Linebacker for the Los Angeles Rams in the 2025 NFL Draft
Me if a sure fire player of need is available at #26 we should stay there and take him if aBU for now Tackle, CB#1, or sideline to sideline ILB come available we stay and take him. If all the players of need are not available or we don't value the players when drafting I am all for moving down if ...

Re: Warming up the the idea of SS at #26
I too got to agree. Starks can be that fast ILB/S hybrid that can cover the short middle and TEs the negative is weight.

Jaire Alexander vs Jalen Ramsey who's better for the Rams?
Both players are potentially available neither are a definite, but are either worth it?
I believe our co biggest need with ILB is a upgrade at CB#1 both players would do that for the Rams.
Each players have their warts.
Ramsey is healthier but 31 years old and 21-25m a season plus would require ...

I am really excited for the first round - feels like a total mystery
Maybe outside of Cam Ward to the Titans and possible either way Hunter/Carter going to the Browns and Giants the rest is a total mystery this year. There is a possibility maybe the top three could be a draft down or up etc. I can't remember a 1st round with this much mystery. Mocks are all over the ...

2 distinctly different goals for this draft - NOW vs FUTURE
Thanks to amazing drafting and shoring up key spots with FAs and resigning players we can compete for a SB this season which is the NOW. The FUTURE is life after Stafford and we must prepare for that. We don't want to be like all the teams flailing around looking for FA QBs who are at best Tier 2 or ...

WTF are the Rams doing this draft?
Why are we taking a 3rd RB in the 4th? How many carriers is this guy getting behind Corum and Kyren. Stupid pick.
No BU Tackle, no CB, no ILB all way more needs.
Ferguson was rated a 3rd or 4th rounder feels similar to the Tutu draft season.

Re: Trust The Process
I am pretty damn certain that McSnead and the entire scouting department knows a hellava lot more than I do.
Wasn’t happy with the Hunter pick. Snead targeted this guy.
Would rather see a big back who can move the pile. Rams seem to draft the same sort of RBs.
Henderson, Williams, Corum, and now ...

Re: Ramsey Deal Breaker
I don't want to buy high on this acquisition. If they pay a good portion not 4m as some have suggested I am fine with it. He was 37th rated by PFF out of 110 I think which is an upgrade but not a steep upgrade plus the compensation will be a consideration.

Re: I am worried for the UDFAs this training camp
Will there is this-
Injured reserve 8 players, 10 if in playoffs. (I believe there is no limit, but only 8 can be activated back to team during reg season).
Practice squad 17 players.
I get the PS concept but I want to see a couple make the 53. Also not a great year to stay on the Rams PS bc ...

Re: I am worried for the UDFAs this training camp
I get the PS concept but I want to see a couple make the 53. Also not a great year to stay on the Rams PS bc most of not all maybe on it I am sure several will get poached.
If they don't make it, doesn't that mean the other players that do are better than they are? So what is the issue? I ...

Strong take I agree in general not to acquire him for some of these reasons but I disagree on some of your points.

Re: 5 Reasons the Los Angeles Rams Should Not Trade for Jalen Ramsey
I DO think Shula’s defense made significant improvements after Reeder was out. Shows you how one guy can bring down an entire group.
But, that has little to do with our CB play.
Ramsey is never happy with his money. That is a major issue for me.
I totally agree then why did the team resign him ...

Re: Strengthening The Secondary: Jalen Ramsey or Asante Samuel Jr.?
For me this rather simple.... Samuel! It's not close in my book. I think Ramsey is sliding toward mortality, and then his contract..
Why does no team want to touch Samuel with a 10-foot pole? He was a big name but now he's black balled or something. Good young corners just do not stay on ...

Re: Just how good can the 2025 Rams club be? 🤷🏼♂️
I know we started slow last season that was based on two factors. First and foremost injuries derailed us and the youth getting up to speed was another factor. We don't have the youth getting up to speed outside of Poona and Devante' and both are super pros it is essentially the same team. And ...

The Rams did a lot of things right this off-season!
Recognizing Kupp probably wasn't the answer and making that super tough decision to let him go was really smart
Immediately replacing him with Adams another very smart decision.
Acquiring a huge run stuffer in Poona Ford and letting Brown walk was another great move.

Re: Rams Cornerback Depth Analysis for the 2025 Season
Got to agree with Glendora there has to be someone on that list that will cost a fraction of Ramsey and no draft capital and will be better than what we have.

Re: What’s is the biggest area of concern for the Rams going into 2025?
Swing OT is the biggest need imo bc if a starting CB goes down we can survive not sure if one of our Tackles gets injured.

Re: The State of Contract Negotiations With Kyren Williams
Here's my take KW has WAAAY out performed his contract. He is a 100% stone wall as a blocker and has gone over 1000 yards 2 years in a row. You can tell he is a Ram through and through. Sad to see him being treated like he was useful up to now and not after.

Re: What a pathetic signing!
I am very underwhelmed with this signing. We are stacked at every position and back up Tackle is very important and to me he is not the answer. Feels like a poor man's Noteboom and that isn't saying much in terms of value.

Re: Jalen Ramsey Trade Implications: Post-June 1st Impact & Analysis
The issue is how much will Miami eat? I hope that the RAMS do not take on his full contract that would be a huge mistake and the reason is he is 6 years older than when we acquired him from JVille. Back then he was ascending player top CB in the league now he is a descending player not worth nearly ...

Re: Chris Shula’s Rams Defense Is Poised to Dominate in 2025
I feel 2025 should be a good deal better on defense.
The DL has a alot of experience we added Poona which will be a strong addition.
The OLBs have experience and Verse will be better and adding Stewart will help add depth to the OLBs.
I am very happy with all the additions at ILB with Paul ...

Re: Jalen Ramsey Trade Implications: Post-June 1st Impact & Analysis
The Rams party line is to be slow and steady. Do not flinch. Jalen is NOT reporting to mandatory minicamp so the Dolphins are in a Mexican standoff with Jalen. Who will blink first?
If Miami refuses to cut him based on no suitors (too expensive) then Jalen blinks and goes back to his luxurious ...

The million dollar question do we trade for a LT?
Well it depends on how Humphries performs and the clot prognosis for Jackson.
I think most posters have a great deal of hope this season in all phases of our team even at competition at punt returner and ILB. Yet we all saw what a derailed OL did last season in the first 5 games.
