Re: Rams 2025 NFL Draft Thread
A TE NOW? I’m confused
I could see a TE in later rounds, but NOW?!
We have a team full of late round TEs. We needed a good one since Higbee can’t play 2 games in a row. I have been screaming for a TE for awhile.
BUT, I know nothing about this guy. He is no Brock Bowers.
I currently ...

Chris Paul Jr.
Here's the stat of the draft for you.. CP Jr. Had 665 snaps in pass coverage in his collegiate career.. No TD's allowed. Care to guess what role we are likely to find him in? For years this is where the Rams defense struggled.. Or since Littleton left and Barron couldn't play anymore..

Re: Chris Paul Jr.
Do you have his stats against the Run? Teams will just run at him more when he's out there if he shuts down the Pass and is 1 dimensional.

Re: Time will tell
I just feel like Alexander or Ramsey is gonna be a Ram. OR Forbes is coming along more than we know. Which is very possible

I can't agree with you more.Claremontram wrote: ↑April 26th, 2025, 6:57 pm He was impressive at Arkansas; he teamed with Langston (who went in the 3rd round to Buffalo, I think). Wish we could have gotten both of these guys.
Paul is just what our Defense needed.

Re: Time will tell
I think of it like this... Snead and Co. Found their current LT as a UDFA... (i had a 3rd rnd grade on him.. but I digress) Point is that they know a lot more than we do. I believe their point in this draft was that the offense was too slow last season .. they dump Kupp.. Bringing in Adams ...

Re: Happy about Draft
Welcome..
I do think both sides of the ball should be better and this might be another Super Bowl year. Especially if they bring back Ramsey or pick up J. Alexander at corner.

Re: Strengthening The Secondary: Jalen Ramsey or Asante Samuel Jr.?
The Rams have been proactive in bolstering their roster this offseason, with a particular focus on strengthening their defense. The Rams did not draft a CB in the 2025 NFL draft, and there is widespread speculation that the Rams are looking to bring back Jalen Ramsey. The re-signing of veteran ...

Re: Eric Dickerson - Where would You Rate Him?
Top 12.. and for me probably around 8-10. The problem with E.D....... Fumbling... and at bad times. That sounds familiar these days. And to a lesser extent, the diva attitude.

Re: Poll Question - All Time Top Five Ram RB’s
1: Marshall Faulk... He and Roger Craig were the precursor to what is and should be considered the ideal NFL running back.. What puts Faulk over the top for me was his absolute blitz pickup and then his WR like route running. Many considered him a coach on the field.

Re: Should the Rams Reunite with Jalen Ramsey? My final take
I still would rather do the dice roll on Asante Samuel Jr. Even as just a dime/nickel back his coverage ability is better than what the Rams currently have. Forbes may be too in the same role

Re: 49ers have easiest strength of schedule in 2025
And of course it's based on the perception that last year's teams are still gonna be bad. Which is not nearly the case anymore. Unless you're Cleveland or the Jets and Giants, Bears.

Re: Rams Rookie Watch: Terrance Ferguson
The Rams didn't have a 2nd round pick, that came from the trade along with ATL first round selection next year that hopefully will be in the area of obtaining a much better player than our 2025 #26 offered. Like TFerg or not (that's fair), I personally loved the trade.
damn sorry what I ...

Re: Linebacker Nate Landman -The Run Stuffer The Rams Have Lacked?
Between he and Paul.. I hope and lean more toward think, that they finally have both ILB spots solved. With Paul seemingly able to cover in nickel and such to spell Speights and Landman. I think Paul will prove to be the real steal here though.

I was about to say when they were on the team together they played well and seemed no ego, Faulk and Jackson.
But then I saw this-" Often referred to as the torchbearer for Faulk's legacy, though their relationship wasn't always "buddy-buddy".
Was there an issue between Faulk and Jackson? Never ...

Jackson was a Beast.
So Sad he had to play on such a dysfunctional team for most of his career!
Awful, HIDEOUS, Coaches, Drafting, Management and Ownership !!!

I would say that Marc Bulger was the most underrated Rams QB, or ...

Re: STEVEN JACKSON..
I said it 100 times before and I’ll say it again. The decision makers in St. Louis at the time are the only ones to blame for them coming back to LA period. They were so desperate in getting the NFL back that they sold their soul on the binding contract on the contractual obligations they had in ...

Re: Does Opening Day Texans Game Worry You?
Well, if half of the OL doesn't go down against the Lions, the Rams win that game. Then they lose more OL the following games. The Rams ran out multiple OL combos the first several games. That was the direct reason for the slow start. Combine that with a still raw defense to compound that issue ...

Re: Chris Shula’s Rams Defense Is Poised to Dominate in 2025
It was the defense that led the charge into the playoffs.
I think it took some time for the defense and Shula to figure out a cohesive plan.
Not only that but the unit was/is extremely young with serious deficiency at ILB, the disaster of White at CB the first quarter season and compounded by ...
