2025 Schedule
Our schedule is released next Wed. Who would you like to see in our season opener? Do you think we will get a rematch of Philly early? I am going to the Rams/Falcons game whenever they schedule it! (Please be a decent weekend, maybe a Sunday night game?)
I wouldn't mind opening up on Thursday night against the Eagles. Of course, the conference schedule is always interesting...where will we be playing end of the season when battling for playoffs?

Re: 2025 Schedule
Few thoughts BD,
I'd like to open the season by starting out playing Thurs ngt @ Philly.
Good news is, our away games this season dont really hit cold weather at any point except for Baltimore... so the earlier the better @ Ravens.
I sure hope we can start hotter this season. I just dont really want to go back into Philly in the playoffs again. We need to win the NFC outright.
I wonder who the dark horse team is this season. Last season it was Washington... so who's turn is it this season that not many see doing well?.
Lastly, BD.... and just for you amigo...

We had a pretty rough schedule to start the season. I feel much better about the team now. (They were so young at the beginning of the year, new DC, etc.
I agree, it feels like we should open on a Thu night against Philly.

Re: 2025 Schedule
Teams most likely to face the Eagles in the league's 2025 season opener, from my perspective:
{1} Lions
{2} Commanders
{3} Rams
{4} Cowboys
{5} Giants
All of the Eagles' probable top AFC opponents (Chiefs, Bills, Chargers) will be played in away games for them; their home interconference matchups will be against the Broncos and Raiders.
Thus I'm figuring that they'll face either another '24 NFC division champion or a divisional rival... 8-)

Re: 2025 Schedule
i'll be in London!!
Every year I look at our schedule and I'm like OMG this is treacherous, but I think this year we have a lot of of easier games as well. Division wise I think San Francisco is not as intimidating as they typically have been that doesn't mean they won't surprise, I think Seattle is going to be much improved. This guard that they drafted scares me reminds me of Steve Hutchinson.

If true, we better be on the East Coast Week 6. Either Baltimore, Philadelphia, Tennessee or Carolina hopefully. Wanna save at Atlanta for late season (weather reasons)
Means we'd probably have Bye Week 8.

Re: 2025 Schedule
I don't see them doing a division game on opening day Thursday. Just my opinion. I would bet hard earned money that it's the Rams. All that's been talked about since their last game was the Rams were the only team to stack up to them. That would be the best draw.Commish wrote: ↑May 9th, 2025, 7:33 pm Teams most likely to face the Eagles in the league's 2025 season opener, from my perspective:

Being 1-0 with Philly out of the way would be sweet though. I bet their fans are saying "Anyone but the Rams on opening Thurs".

Re: 2025 Schedule
I hope it's the Saints and then the Jags. We don't play any starters or top backups in preseason and I'd like to knock the rust off some teams that will be fighting for a top 5 draft pick. No way would I want the Eagles or Lions or Ravens first.Bulldawg wrote: ↑May 9th, 2025, 8:44 am Our schedule is released next Wed. Who would you like to see in our season opener? Re: 2025 Schedule
Well the good news is our bye week is probably the week after London which IMO is right where we want the bye.
I didn’t care either way if we opened in Philly. I thought we would though.

Re: 2025 Schedule
Just a side note here, but yet another streaming service coming our way... 'Fox One'. Plans on hosting a good amount of NFL games this coming season will be revealed soon. Good news is that is seems they will bundle w others streaming companies, so maybe not an entirely new app to add to my already full apps of streaming services I pay way too much for, already...

Fox will partner with other distributors and services to offer Fox One, CEO Lachlan Murdoch told analysts, hinting at potentially bundling deals with other streamers — a strategy that has gained traction as companies look to curb subscriber churn.

The more I think about this, this game annoys me.BrooklynRam74 wrote: ↑May 12th, 2025, 4:54 am Just announced: The Thursday Night Kickoff game. We didn't get it. Dallas at Philadelphia.
Dallas is just not a good club. Sure, tons of fans... but do they really deserve the opening ngt game for 2025 after having a losing season in 2024?....
Honestly, an Eagles-Cowboys matchup just feels like another NFC East game with great marketability and not nearly as good product on the field. While it's easy to understand why the NFL pulled this trigger, a game against the Rams would be much more enticing for general football fans.
Dallas is the one team that can go 7-10 just last season, yet gets rewarded w opening the season abasing the SB champs?. Why cant the NFL just let them suck in silence. #thefixisin #jerrypoppins
We should take bets on how many prime times games they also get awarded with on Wed.
I just HATE Dallas (almost as much as San Francisco).

If it was up to me, Seattle at home, would be the first game. The two teams that battled it out for the division last year, meet week 1 of the season.

It is hard to tell when we will need our bye week. Last year it was good to have it early to get some players back. Funny how it always seems we okay better after the bye week.

Re: 2025 Schedule
NFC East rivalries are attractive nationally, which is why I (correctly in this case) figured that the league might go with one for its Thursday night opener, although I thought that the Redskins would've been the best divisional matchup with the Eagles. That would have been a rematch of last season's conference championship contest and would've featured a rising young star QB, however Roger Goodell apparently preferred the Cowboys.Ramsfan08ny wrote: ↑May 10th, 2025, 11:57 amI don't see them doing a division game on opening day Thursday. Re: 2025 Schedule
I like the Cowboys, ya know why? They rose up in the days of Jimmy Johnson, Troy Aikman, Michael Irvin, Emmitt Smith, and curb stomped the previously unchecked Niners. SF would have won a few more SB's between '89 - '94 if not for the Cowboys. They seamlessly and annoyingly went from Montana to Young but the Cowboys eliminated them twice. SF snuck by Dallas in '94 then GB took care of them for a few years after that. They haven't won a SB since.DelMar wrote: ↑May 12th, 2025, 10:22 amBrooklynRam74 wrote: ↑May 12th, 2025, 4:54 am Just announced: The Thursday Night Kickoff game. We didn't get it. From what I just read, the LA Rams DO NOT play an international game this year. Not sure where that report came from or what is correct. I did find this though:
"However, they are scheduled to play a regular season game in Melbourne, Australia in 2026"

I will say, def got some mixed signals on this as I thought our next international game wasnt till 2026.
