went on niners board oh boy
mindless unbridled arrogance, there is one poster who thinks it might be a tough game, every other single poster thinks its a guaranteed blowout, very little strategic football discussion, one douche actually said they neutered AD99
I am hoping for snapping of the spines of more than one niner, we need Gregg Williams to be hired as a Hate consultant

This is for the Super Bowl, against NFC West long time blood-soaked rivals. Can't imagine any folding.therealheadslap75 wrote: ↑January 24th, 2022, 1:04 pm if the Rams have a teaspoon of FFFing testosterone they better take it and man the FFF up against these scum buckets

Was it just me, or did the Rams D look more battle tested yesterday as they wrapped up/secured every tackle?
Btw, who was the dork that said the NFC West was a weaker division? The NFC Champ game is coming from it LOL

Agreed--but there currently is no answer to the 49ers fans' arrogance, only the Rams can deal with it on Sunday.therealheadslap75 wrote: ↑January 24th, 2022, 1:04 pm

If our team loses to the 49ers for the seventh straight time, in the NFC championship game no less, that won't ever be forgotten by their gloating fans... ;) :? :x

Re: went on niners board oh boy
Is there any ounce of evidence that they should feel any different? Any winning streak, hot run, or confidence the Rams have gets completely derailed when they play the 9ers. Just horrible matchup all over the place against them.therealheadslap75 wrote: ↑January 24th, 2022, 12:50 pm mindless unbridled arrogance, there is one poster who thinks it might be a tough game, every other single poster thinks its a guaranteed blowout, very little strategic football discussion, one douche actually said they neutered AD99

If the Rams don't want to see SF win the NFL in their stadium, and if they don't want to see SF play the SB.....in their stadium, then they have their chance to have a say in it. And, make sure that you hear Aaron Donalds name more than Bosa!

If I were a sober and level-headed 9ers fan, I would be damn nervous about playing the Rams on Sunday. Please review our Offensive prowess against Cards and Bucs. Please review our Defensive subjugation against said teams. Watch closely our STs Powell and Gay.
This game is for all the marbles. Time for AD, Floyd, Von Miller, and Ramsey to lay havoc. Time for Stafford, Kupp, OBJ, Akers/Michel, and Higbee to shine.
Rams win 35-17. Who's with me!

Re: went on niners board oh boy
It wasn't such a horrible match up for them for the 1st 29:22 of the game
They left points left points out there too, went soft to end the half and gave them life.
2nd half the Rams didn't bring the same game or got too full of themselves and lost focus
They need to bring it for 60, plus if necessary and we'll beat them.

Re: went on niners board oh boy
Yep agree - OMG the number of broken tackles in the second half = the Rams really seemed to secure each tackle yesterday vs. Bucs (learning from the whiner game). The just couldn't secure the ball LOL. This next game, that shit all gets locked down!Rampager66 wrote: ↑January 24th, 2022, 1:35 pm It wasn't such a horrible match up for them for the 1st 29:22 of the game

They have the better overall team, however sometimes the lesser team pulls off the upset, especially if the better team has psychological issues in dealing with the lesser one.
The Good Guys will almost certainly lose if they continue with the same lax ball security that they demonstrated vs. the Buccaneers... :( :?

3 games in a row the team came out and played a smoking 1st half in all 3 phases and dominated, 3 playoff caliber teams.
The Cards game was the only one they didn't implode in the 2nd half...
That's what needs to be fixed. Playing with less urgency because they're multiple scores ahead only puts you on your heels. And you seldom get off them after that.

Finishing off a team is so hard at this level. I'm sure glad we added Von Miller to the mix.Rampager66 wrote: ↑January 24th, 2022, 2:02 pmThe "if necessary" was pertaining to any OT that may be included...Commish wrote: ↑January 24th, 2022, 1:51 pm If the Rams truly "bring it for 60," there won't be anything else "necessary."

True, the Rams played sloppily with multiple turnovers in the second half of their relatively one-sided 'wild card' playoff victory over the Cardinals, fortunately their "D" kept the Cardinals from exploiting that laxness on "O."Rampager66 wrote: ↑January 24th, 2022, 2:02 pm

It's time for Sean McVay to stop merely stating that "We have some things we need to clean up," and actually start doing so.
Our team is superior overall to the 49ers, but only when its players are focused intensively for the game's full 60 minutes...

In the 1st half vs TB I noticed them lining up Von on the right side and he would drop off into coverage often on Gronk or the RB coming out of the BF. They shut the short stuff down pretty good and the D stymied them all half.
2nd half Von lined up mostly left, but even when he lined up on the right it was to pass rush and the Short to midrange stuff to Gronk and Fournette was gifted and they had a big hand in their rally... Don't get why you would go away from what worked...
I will say that I was disappointed with Ramsey's job on Evans in the 2nd half. He got flat out burned by him 4 or 5 times. He's supposed to be one of the best corners in the league but it didn't look like it there. He gave up lots...

Re: went on niners board oh boy
They have every right to brag and be cocky. We just need to win and shut them up in the biggest match up of the season. We can win- we should have won easy last time. They just seem to make adjustments and they get stronger as the game goes on (unlike the Bills/Chiefs D). We need to match their intensity and focus. We have a better overall team IMO. But they will bring in everything they got. Deebo is an absolute beast not to be denied. But Jimmy G is just meh.....if we play the way we tormented Brady, should rattle him and force mistakes. Have faith- we can erase ALL the past losses to this team with 1 big V.

Re: went on niners board oh boy
I don't care how we get to/pressure Jimmy G (as long as well get to him), but he is good at getting off an on-target pass under HEAVY pressure/right before getting hit...but he's still no T. Brady and can self-destruct as well. I would like to see a consistent heavy pass rush up the middle, as that seems to be where he completes the majority of his crucial throws. Hands up Rams pass rush, get some tips...RAMFAN71 wrote: ↑January 24th, 2022, 2:37 pm They have every right to brag and be cocky.
