The only silver lining is this debacle is that this horrific weakness in our kicking game has been exposed and at least the blocking scheme and personnel should be fixable. On kickoffs Karty really could not have been any better in this game.

Excellent post! One of my criticisms against McVay is how easily he gives up on the run even when it is having success. Williams averaged 4.7 and Corum 6.6 yards against the Eagles. They are an incredible tandom yet McVay seems at a loss on how best to get the most out of each of them. Why not use ...

The offense still has not gelled; Stafford has to get Adams into the game much earlier...at least McVay used the hurry-up offense today and it was effective. We need a cmplete game and complete pounding Thursday night to keep the crowd out of the game..
