Ok...who else is nervous for next week?

Post by cdaly26 »

I mean this was a slapstick version of the 49ers game...Turnovers need to be addressed - I get it - and kudos to the Bucs for going after the ball....but McVay needs a better strategy for bleeding the clock and sealing games....this prevent offense and 'playing not to lose'....we can't keep letting teams hang around and then give them the ball back with 4 mins left....ESPECIALLY not SF....I'm grateful for the win (although my gray hair count increased during the last 5 minutes of that game) but they need to come up with a strategy for the 49ers - and I have no illusion there will be homefield fan advantage for the final - pretty sure the 49er fans will be out in force....

Agreed. Our offense is just not designed to bleed clock. We don't have the oline for it. We have to keep attacking or we stagnate and bad things start to happen for us.

I’m damn nervous…we can’t beat these guys. If the Rams have another 2nd half choke, it’s over. More Sony….he got us here, he should be getting half the touches. Take advantage of our two headed monster.

I'm not nervous about the 49ers. Week 18 didn't surprise me. Back-to-back East Coast trips have a big impact the following week. That affected us in Week 18. It'll affect the 49ers in the NFCCG. I don't care what the betting line gets adjusted to by fans expecting another 49ers win. I like the Rams to win by plenty.

...even in a stadium full of noisy 49ers fans.

If we don't win...so be it.

It’s just way too hard to beat a team 3 times in a season … RAMS move on … NINERS are banged up too… they are saying Jimmy g is hurt and just dragging it out … will see

I feel the same as I did last time. It's in their head that they can't beat JG. What makes it worse than losing to the 9ers next week? The 9ers playing in the SB in our stadium.

Rams have to figure out a way to run on these guys.

Will be a dog fight. Expect nothing but hard nosed physical game from Deebo, Kittle, and crew. And their coach owns McVay. But we are gonna stomp them. Our guys will be fired up!

Still, if the Rams perform self-destructively, as they did for most of the second half today, they will almost certainly lose.

The Packers held the 49ers to 3 points on offense yesterday, however their own "O" was pretty pathetic and their kicking game surrendered 10 points.

If our team plays as aggressively on "D" as it did vs. the Buccaneers, and avoids the foolish turnovers it committed on "O" in the second half, then the Good Guys should defeat the 49ers.

However, if the Rams don't bring their "A" game for the full 60 minutes, then they'll be done for once again... ;) :? :geek:

ram pathos...

Bucs are beasts to run against. 9rs are too. That means you gotta play "ball control" with passing game. Bill Walsh and Joe Montana won rings because they could do it when the run game got stopped.

Getting rid of McVay is a rediculous suggestion as he is one of the most successful young coaches in the history of the league. Has he ever had a losing season?

I get why you all are nervous bit this is a new day. It's finally time to exercise the 9er demons once and for all in the biggest game we've ever played against them.

I'm not nervous about the Niners.
Look, we already got pounded by them twice this year...and a bunch in the past few years.
There's nowhere to go but up, right???
We should all be happy that the Rams have a chance to pound them when it REALLY counts - in the playoffs!!!

Honestly I still feel like we got the best draw possible and everyone is tough now so whatever. Arizona was flailing, we've had TBs #, and now we need to beat a divisional rival at home. If we can do that we host a superbowl in our home stadium. Really can't ask for a better set of games. Gotta take advantage and beat San Fran and I think we finally will.

Rams are the better team. Jimmy G looks like Johnny U against the Rams; and Crappolo against everyone else. I think we finally see Crappolo. Rams will not lose at home and will get sweet vengeance. I feel it.

The best form of defence is offence...

Maybe if McVay kept with the same aggressive strategy that got us 27 points in the first place then we wouldn't have been in such a squeaky bum time situ.

I certainly know what Cam Akers focus will be in training this week. I think he needs a little refresher on how to protect the ball running in traffic. Let's put those incidents down to not having played for pretty much the whole season and focusing more on fitness rather than running/protecting the ball technique..

A couple of games now recently where 2 halves have been near polar opposites. That's a concern going into the Niners game and it needs cleaning up where all 4 Qtrs require that Arizona game' esq of flawless football.

I’m still nervous from yesterday…

I was thinking the same thing about the soft offense with the lead… run not going anywhere… I know it hasn’t worked at times but now I think maybe we should just put the ball in our all Pro quarterbacks hands…

Of course it’s Monday morning, but Staff puts that game away. if we had let him…

Yep. People are assuming that because we took care of the Bucs Oline, the 49ers will be the same. Well the 49ers have a better Oline and definitely a better Dline than the Bucs. If the Bucs had Godwin and Brown, we lose probably that game. Shanahan has to be in McVays head. He has lost to him 6 times in a row. Cannot continue to blow leads. It is disconcerting.

Rams are going to be fired up like never before. There's no way they're gonna let 49ers beat them again.,..in THEIR stadium. Rams can create a home field advantage by leading the entire game, and SILENCING the frikkin 49er fans, who will be 75% of the crowd.

Nope. He's never had a losing season. To suggest firing him is the stupidest fucking thing to say.

Well I don't know. Niners will have their tackle back, Williams. Don't want to be negative but last time the Rams beat the Niners was 2018 when we beat them twice. Fumbles are a worry. Even one fumble could spell doom. Our O line against their D line is not a good matchup for us.

If the rams can't establish the run against SF, just give the ball to Stafford and let him win. Trying to force the run to work when it isn't almost cost the rams the game vs Tampa.

I know many here loves to run the ball but Stafford been on point all playoffs. Don't take the ball out if his hands.
