Re: Rams @ Ravens... Who you got and why?
Yes I know rainy Sunday. But………….
Ravens are as bad as it gets defensively in regards to stopping the pass………….
They are beat up in the secondary…………..
They are one of the top defenses in the league when stopping the run…………
If wind isn’t an issue Sunday then don’t play into their strength because it’s raining. Don’t want to hear we need to keep it balance. No we need to expose their awful secondary…………..
If one reads a Raven fan forum one will see comments of “our secondary is so bad and so depleted”. “Kupp may have 200 receiving yards in the first half”………
Their offense comes down to will L. Jackson play……………

I dont care about balance in this game. We just need to go in there and win.NorCal RF wrote: ↑December 29th, 2021, 10:35 am Yes I know rainy Sunday. But………….

Old time football rah rah rah. Run, run, run lol………..
No matchups in 2021. Go after one’s weakness. Now if we do run well early then fine…………..
Speaking of matchups Andrews is damn good. And we know how our D defends TE’s………………

The Baltimore Ravens will play the Los Angeles Rams at 1 p.m. Sunday instead of the originally scheduled kickoff of 4:25 p.m., the NFL said Monday.

Rams have a horrible history when visiting Baltimore. Whether it be vs Colts or Ravens.

Re: Rams @ Ravens... Who you got and why?
The Ravens 3rd string QB went 28-40 for 304 and 2 TD;s 1 pick last week At Cincy...
Their 2nd string Huntley the week before also went 28-40 for 215 with 2 TD;s and no picks and they almost knocked off GB...
Their Offense Ranks 5th in total yards and 16th in PG, 12 Pass, 5th rush, with their QB's contributing large to their high run ranking...
Their TE is their leading receiver with all pro numbers, you almost want to put JR5 on him but fir the size difference...
They lead the league in both 3rd and 4th down conversions and also lead the league defensively in oppositions 3rd down conversion rank.
This game is going to come down to the Rams D getting off the field making stops.
The Ravens are well coached and have good offensive depth as they are showing with their production with many players in and out of the lineup due to their injuries and the virus protocols..
I hope we don't go into that worthless soft zone against these guys... the key imo will be getting into an early groove and grabbing the lead..
Pass them into the ground offensively and play as much press man to man as you can and take away the short stuff and we should be able to shut them down.
I don't see a deep threat from them so the safeties can also be more active helping take away the short stuff..
Depending on which Rams and Ravens show up,
I'll go Rams 34 Ravens 23

The pay back tour continues
Ravens beat the mess out of the rams a few years back. I almost couldn't hold down my food that day, bowled just a 74 that day. Couldn't get it up for a week.
It's time for payback. Rams 34 Ravens 16

Stafford is 0-2 vs Ravens.
Under head coach John Harbaugh, the Ravens have outscored the Rams 98-26 and own a 3-0 record

Beat the Ravens and we accomplish our longest winning streak of the season.. 5 W's
It's a good time to get a streak like this going for momentum heading towards the playoffs.

Rams are always a mixed bag when traveling to the east coast. Ravens are up against the wall. I have a bad feeling about this game. Hope I'm wrong

Trust me he's playing. Ravens need this win and will seek any advantage including playing a little possum with Lamar. He'll be ready.DMRamFan wrote: ↑December 30th, 2021, 11:27 am Lamar not practicing again… I’d be super surprised if he plays, but then again… they are in a need to win situation… so, not sure how much he will produce if he does end up playing…

Re: Rams @ Ravens... Who you got and why?
Ravens are a wounded dog so they are dangerous. If a gimpy Jackson is playing the Rams have a huge advantage. I still expect a close game. Would be nice to step on their necks while they are down and give them a little payback for 2019. I seemed to remember that they showed no mercy in that 45-6 beating. Rams could effectively end their playoff hopes.

Re: Rams @ Ravens... Who you got and why?
Minus the weather conditions impacting the game, I feel the Rams win, because the secondary is all ps level. They are the most sacked team in the NFL, there leading RB is Lamar still and he has been out 3 games, and it looks like Lamar is not playing.

Rams will continue to roll against a tough (against the run) defense as Stafford spreads the love with 5 TDS- Cam catches one!
LA is averaging almost 30 ppg during the streak, this is a McVay grudge match
Rams 41-31

Re: Rams @ Ravens... Who you got and why?
I have zero feel for this game. If it wasn't going to rain, I'd have more confidence because of the Ravens bad, depleted pass defense. Ravens 4 straight losses. Rams 4 straight wins. Ravens out of the playoffs right now and their backs are against the wall. NFC teams don't win in Baltimore when Jackson plays. I had this game and the Green Bay game as sure losses going into the season. Rams got screwed with the extra game being in Baltimore this late in the season. Harbaugh is a good coach with a good record vs the Rams. I will pick the Rams; but not with confidence.

I agree with all of thatSafety Blitz wrote: ↑December 31st, 2021, 12:14 pm Turnovers a big factor in the rain...we win turn overs...we win game....no 3 pic game please...special teams huge
TO's are always big but I would think in a rain game it's more difficult to have sustained drives with a wet slippery ball and giving up points with TO's in your redzone is a recipe for disaster.

Rams in another close one. They just can't give us a breather. Another one score game, another nail biting finish. Maybe even the dreaded onsides kick again.....

Andrews is a problem. Like to see JR on him all game. It's pretty simple. We win if Stafford does not give the ball away. That's a big if. .
