Where are all of the non believers and naysayers

Post by unclesams »

Fire McVay, This team sucks, Fire Sneed, Bench Stafford, what's happened to Aaron Donald, The season is over, Blah Blah Blah....And now its praise from those same people. Some of you guys are a trip and only are supporters when the team wins.

It's all good though...but you know who you are!!

It’s a big IF…

But if we beat them damned Packers, I believe we would be top seed in the NFC right now…

I’ll have to admit that I was starting to have my doubts when we lost three games in a row. Not only did we lose, but Stafford looked bad. Whatever was wrong seems to be fixed now. But, I was really beginning to wonder if he could handle the pressure of prime time games. Last night he did and he did it like a champ.

Nobody's a "phonie" if they call it as they see it. Prior to last night the Rams had been totally bullied by the big kids on the block, 9ers, Titans, Cards, Pack. Predicting another let down has nothing to do with loyalty. That's the problem with a prediction thread. Do you want/expect every fan to predict a 42-0 Rams win? Every game? Every Ram fan, me included, who predicted a Cardinal win, did so based on how the Rams had been playing. All the Rams fans, me included, who predicted that, could not be happier to be wrong.

I'll post it now. Rams beat the Seahawks 63-3 next week. Does that make me the #1 Ram fan in the room now?

Eh...not a fan of this mindset.

Pointing out when your team is playing like dogshit is not "hating". It's being minimally observant.

It's not the fans job to just wave the pom-poms, 24/7/365. You call it like you see it.

Last night was awesome. Just as that 3 game losing streak was horrid. It's OK to say both out loud.

I'll admit it - I had my doubts about the team - and about this game - when Ramsey and Noteboom were written off - part of me was wondering should I even watch the game? (Rhetorical question - OF COURSE I was going to watch no matter what)....but they stepped up as a team and delivered what I would call a must win performance (at least if they had any aspirations for a deep playoff run)....they proved they can win if they execute...as many on this board have said - the talent is there - they just needed to bring it together - and if this team was without a heart earlier in the season - they found it last night - here's hoping they are peaking at the right time and can ride this momentum down the stretch and into the playoffs....

Oh, and BTW, winning the division is still a possibility!!!!

There are crappy fans within every fan base. Calling them out might make you feel good, or vindicated, but it won't change them. Next loss it'll be back to ABC sucks & fire XYZ.

Excellent post. Based on the three previous games and the loss of so many starters it was really special what awe did last night. But really who could have predicted that?

This is a fan forum. Could it exist in a vacuum with cheerleaders? Maybe, but who would want to comment here? The point of any fan forum is to criticize, sometimes unfairly, sometimes fairly.

It's fine to criticize and I do my share but when posters only light up the board after loses, never post after a victory and only tear the team, coaches and management down it does make one question their agenda. Not saying we want only cheerleaders but 'doom and gloom' only is equally bad if not worse...great victory last night and if you have nothing to say about that then move on to disaster videos on a loop...   :x :? :( 'good guys'

Read the comments on gameday, let alone this week calling to fire the special teams coach. How is " were going 15-2 and winning the super bowl" different from doom and gloom?

They were playing like absolute dog shit and you want us to say "oh. That's ok!"? Fuck that. I've been rooting for this team since I was six years old, nothing fake about this fan. And yeah, I was on the fire Morris bandwagon because his system is shit.

THIS^^^
I had my doubts about the Rams - not about the talent, but about the way the team is asked to play.
Hey, if we see something that can be improved, why not mention it as a topic to be discussed?

...but that's different than people that come here and want everyone fired, or they want Wolfie to start at QB, and stuff like that. Some of these people could be considered "unstable". They are playing a different ballgame.

Sport teams are like stocks. Rarely do they ever just go straight up. Always some ups and downs. Tampa had some downs last year before going on a long December run to the SB.

December football is when you want your team preforming at their best and so far so good. 2-0 including a win, on the road, over the arguably the best team in football at the time.

We have been here before, I would tread very carefully. One big win is great, but lets see how we fare moving forward, unfortunately this team tends to let down after a big win, or just when you think this is the year....BAM. There are plenty of question marks moving forward, especially the play of the special teams and which Mathew Stafford will show up. With the remaining 4 games, you would hope we can go 4-0 with the way the Ravens are playing, if we lose a couple of these I guess the non believers and naysayers will remain. It is time for this team to step up and shut those people up.

Agreed!

There's *zero* wrong with reevaluating a situation when circumstances change, and criticizing our team when it performs poorly doesn't make anyone less of a fan.

It's amazing that an unexpected big win somehow results in some posters attacking their fellow Rams fans... :) :? 8-)

I still have doubts the RAMs will do much in the playoffs. Does that make me a bad fan? After losing three straight they beat a crap team and an overrated team. Im not dancing or anything right now.

The only teams the rams played this year that is better then the Cards is Packers and Tampa and the rams are 1-1 against them. So I guess the only team you would have gave the rams credit for beating is the Packers.
