McVay now the second longest tenured head coach behind Andy Reid. Incredible

Good solid old school HC - needs a pump up on his O approach but he will establish a tough no nonsense culture if that is on your shopping list.

Re: Mike Tomlin steps down!
I think he will take some time off. Maybe TV. I wish McVay could hire him as some type of consultant.

Re: Mike Tomlin steps down!
Is "step down" code for the maintenance staff is removing your name from your private parking space. My guess it was one of those conversations with leadership that starts out with "are you happy here." I am not surprised by this move. Tomlin is a good coach but could not get them over the top year after year..

I disagree. I think this was 100% his decision. They are very loyal to coaches there.Jacksnow wrote: ↑Today, 8:18 am Is "step down" code for the maintenance staff is removing your name from your private parking space. STL Woody. Interesting, did not know that. I assumed even with winning seasons but no superbowl, leadership was tired and wanted to move in different direction. For Tomlin his future is bright, depending if he still has interest. Could you see Tomlin as a Raider?STL Woody wrote: ↑Today, 2:39 pmI disagree. I think this was 100% his decision. Re: Mike Tomlin steps down!
Owner Steve Bisciotti, Not a guy id like to work or play for, but def says it how it is...
To me, this why you have a PR team, owners I dont think should do interviews... all they do is stir up trouble (See Jerry's world and his stupid weekly radios show)
When I see Press conferences like this, it makes me even more proud of Kronk... as he just is the man behind the man, behind the man..
Also, who wants to tell me Steve here is not connected to the mafia....
the way he talks, acts and dresses.... looks like the new Godfather movie clip
