Rams will go big on offense.
I also think Kyren Williams will not be extended.

I think it depends on their latest assessment of Blake Corum. Is he really part of the future?

^^^ this. Find a RB, ride him till contract time , and repeat.BrooklynRam74 wrote: ↑April 24th, 2025, 8:39 am No reason to extend Kyren. We have to learn from Gurley. Kyren is very good but not special, and fumbles a bit too much. Keep drafting a RB every year.

Would you trade Williams today for a 4th?

I would. It's the right time, but I don't think they could get a 4th.

Re: Rams will go big on offense.
Kyren had a very costly fumble against the Eagles, but so too did Stafford. The crazy thing is that McVay doesn't trust anyone but Kyren who is very good in pass pro.

No way on a RB early. Waste. I can see Egbuka for sure. Load up for #9. I can def see trading up for Loveland too. Don't think he will be there at 26.

Brock Bowers as a Ram... Would have been something amazing.BrooklynRam74 wrote: ↑April 24th, 2025, 11:14 am Similar to last year, when Rams wanted to trade up for Brock Bowers, Rams want to trade up for Colston Loveland.

Re: Rams will go big on offense.
I can see trading up. I actually like Warren and Loveland just as much. All three grade out about the same, will be drafted in about the same spot. Thus, I can envision a trade-up as Brooklyn eludedDelMar wrote: ↑April 24th, 2025, 1:19 pmBrock Bowers as a Ram... Re: Rams will go big on offense.
Strangely, I can now envision the Rams selecting RB Omarion Hampton (North Carolina) at #26 overall, however not trading up to get him in tonight's NFL draft.
I'm still thinking about our team trading down into the high second round, however that may not prove possible; it does strike me as the best option if it could happen.
The Good Guys 'taking a flyer' on QB Kyle McCord (Syracuse) in the fourth round, that strikes me as plausible, although the classic Rams-oriented name belongs to QB Dillon Gabriel (Oregon).
From what I've read, the only QB actually worth a first-round pick is Cam Ward (Miami), who will almost certainly be selected by the Titans at #1 overall, however it's probable that three others will also be chosen tonight, hopefully not by our team... :? ;)

Re: Rams will go big on offense.
Strange coincidence - I was thinking exactly that about an hour ago - Egbuka. Another good weapon for sureBrooklynRam74 wrote: ↑April 24th, 2025, 2:08 pm Also think Rams would be happy sitting at 26, holding onto draft picks, and drafting Egbuka.

Well, not happy about being right on that one...however, I don't think the Rams really needed him this year.

In my mock, I had the Rams taking D. Jackson - OL Ohio State (based on who was left).
Rams like versatility on the OL, so we'll see.

I don't understand the Packers going WR - they already have 4 very good WR's on the team...but whatever.

I hoped you jinxed yourself.
CB Will Johnson and ILB Campbell are still there but 2 teams pick ahead of us so we could be hosed.

From what I read, Will Johnson dropped due to injury concerns. I personally wouldn't do it. Remember Todd Gurley?

I believe Johnson's issue is turf toe. Doesn't seem like it should be that big of a deal.FelixTheStonerCat wrote: ↑April 24th, 2025, 7:50 pmFrom what I read, Will Johnson dropped due to injury concerns. I personally wouldn't do it. Remember Todd Gurley?

Still some very good players on the board...NYG moving up to likely take a QB.
Looks like a decent situation for the Rams to trade back if there are any takers...but I think Simmons would be a great pick for the Rams...this should be interesting!

For some reason, I thought it was a knee thing. We do need CB help greatly.Ants wrote: ↑April 24th, 2025, 7:51 pmI believe Johnson's issue is turf toe. Doesn't seem like it should be that big of a deal.FelixTheStonerCat wrote: ↑April 24th, 2025, 7:50 pm
