Re: Bears it is....
Bears blew their whole entire energy against GB, than beat up by SF and Detroit and this last game with a bunch of injuries and rivalry game for the ages.
welcoming the Rams into town will not be fun.. don't depend on kicking into swirling Chi winds
let SF and Seattle tear each other apart.

Rams need Dotson and Ferg this week.
Dotson is the Rams best run blocking ol and Ferg is the Rams best run blocking tight end.

FanDuel and DraftKings both have Rams -4.5.
Remember, all the sportsbooks have the Rams with the second best odds to win the Super Bowl, barely behind Seattle.

Jerry Gray was on that Rams team that went into Frisco and got annihilated 30-3 by Joe Montana and Jerry Rice

Re: Bears it is....
I still don't get it
Carolina beat a healthy Rams team a few weeks back despite missing one of their best OL, their best CB and their 2nd best LB. Rams, who was missing their best OL, this time around, shouldn't have been favored by 10.5 against a fully healthy Carolina team.

and their LT was lost for the season this weekend. Our DL could have a field day

Whatever the reason for this line - don’t be deceived - our pass defense is dreadful ( worst in the playoffs by far) and cannot be disguised or hidden. Our O is first rate if healthy and can score vs Chicago - but the game will go off script at some point and Williams ( almost impossible to sack) will have a field day vs our secondary . He will evade our pass rush forever until someone breaks free or a penalty is called. He has done this repeatedly this year vs far better defenses than the one the Rams will send out there. IMO a very bad match up for our defense.

I have to disagree. I think our D front make Caleb run for his life. Bears just lost a top OL today, and they already were struggling.
Yes, our secondary is awful, and I mean dreadfully bad… BUT, if our DL and LB can keep Caleb running around like scared for his life.. we got this.
Having Dotson and Ferg back is YUGE advantage for us. Stafford has played in the cold does just fine,
Our ST’s to be on point. They will be crucial for us

Re: Bears it is....
Hope you are right DM and I will be glad to accept it - just see Williams making a complete joke of our D - Not a fan of this QB or his whole ACT its just our real weakness vs him and a quality group of WRs- hope I am wrong.

Will be tough game. They have dudes at WR. And can attack our soft secondary.

Re: Bears it is....
It’ll be tough. Last year in week 4, pre-Ben Johnson and improved roster, Caleb Williams kind of became an NFL quarterback, and it was against the Rams:

I was hoping for Seattle and more familiarity plus revenge, but this could be revenge for last year. And familiarity goes both ways.

Re: Bears it is....
Jerry Gray was also on the 1985 Ram that terrorized Joe Montana on MNF with INT's and I think a pick 6 to seal the win. Gray was a pro bowl CB from 1986 - through the next 4 consecutive seasons to1989 -The same season you are referring to.LARAMFAN52 wrote: ↑January 11th, 2026, 5:22 pm Jerry Gray was on that Rams team that went into Frisco and got annihilated 30-3 by Joe Montana and Jerry Rice

Re: Bears it is....
Rams also have very little experience this year vs running QBs. Really only Hurts and to a lesser extent Mayfield are the only elusive QBs Rams have played this season.
The crowd in Chicago was absolutely going crazy loud with the Packers and if the game is next Saturday night it’s gonna have even more juice and colder.
The Rams should win, but man they played the worst game of their entire season last year in Chicago vs a terrible Bears team in much warmer weather. The Bears I think are way worse than their record says, they’ve won a ton of miracle games. And Rams have lost a few they should have won. So if the reversion to the mean Rams should win this 27-20 something like that.
But how’s Stafford’s finger in the cold? Little things can matter. Caleb started cooking in the 2nd half vs Packers they are probably on a high. Rams coming off a mediocre game for their own level.
