Updated 12.21 playoff scenarios and Atl draft position
Path to 1 seed:
Rams win out, SF, Sea and Chic drop a game. SF and Chicago play next week and SF and Sea week 18.
But solid chance Chicago and Seattle week 18 are playing teams playing for pride (Detroit) or resting staters (SF).
Path to 2 seed:
Bears win out (beat SF), Sea loses a game, Rams win out
Path to 5 seed:
We win out, SF or Sea wins NFCW. We go 1-1 and beat AZ, Sea beats SF and win NFC West. We go 1-1 and beat AZ, Sea or SF drop 2 games.
Atlanta pick based on their strength of schedule:
They go 6-11: pick will be 8-9
They go 7-10: pick will be around 12
They go 8-9: pick will be around 15

Thanks for the update. I'm still hoping for that #1 seed and a bye week. I hate the thought of playing in Philly or Chicago this time of year.

My guess we end up 5th seed and I am okay with that we hopefully get revenge against Carolina.
I don't see Seattle losing to Carolina jmo. SF Chi a toss up but not super convinced on Chi they got a bunch of last minute lucky wins.
I sorta think Seattle wins both of their last two games both on the road. Tough one to figure out.

I agree about Seattle, but as you said - tough to figure.
But I think Chicago can beat SF. Yeah, they had a lot of "lucky" late wins, but SF has the easiest schedule in the NFL, and they don't really have much of a defense (lots of backups playing). They seem to be doing it with smoke and mirrors. I actually want to watch that game.

yeah Seattle is tough to figure out because of Darnold. Chicago can best the Niners but I don't think they will. Need to beat ATL this week for 2 obvious reasons. LFGAnts wrote: ↑December 24th, 2025, 5:04 pmI agree about Seattle, but as you said - tough to figure.
