Hope the Rams Stay Humble
All the talk about how Rams are the best could start a down turn in hunger and zeal. One bad game from us and Staff and the sanctification will turn to judgment.
Rams 14-3
Rams 15-2
Beat SEA!!!!

Re: Hope the Rams Stay Humble
This has come to my mind as well...
IMO, The Rams have always seemed to play better as the Dogs under McVay... but then we have to look back at the 2021 season.
We are in the same flight mode as '21 almost.... Mach 2 with our hair on fire with a little bit of turbulence (thanks ST).
So, its not like we have not been here before... and I do think it helps when we have a coaching staff that has seen the best of times, along w the worst of times... and knowing Sean, he just will not allow lazy, garbage, self pity play out there. I also think we stay strong, because we have experienced some very bad play earlier this season, along w very tough Seattle and Indy games... I think we stay strong.
My wish... we do not leave the state of CA when the playoffs start, all the way to Levi stadium... plenty of rest, home field advantage... its just huge to me... we DO NOT want to travel east come playoffs, especially to Phly or GB.
Also, I think 3 NFCW teams make the playoffs... and would not be shocked if we welcome either Seattle or San Fran in our first game after the bye... Time will tell.

Good points - but - 1 game at a time is the only way to go from here on out. Keeping the ship on this course is ALL on McVay . It is a 6 game season with everything on the line.

Yes. One game at a time. Carolina is playing for first place in the NFC South on Sunday. Definitely can’t overlook them!

Re: Hope the Rams Stay Humble
Rams have wins over the Texans, Colts, 9ers, Hags, Jags, Ravens and Bucs.
7 teams that all could be in the post season... with The Lions and the Hags (again), still to come.
Plus we outplayed and had the Eagles and 9ers (1st meeting), our only 2 losses, beat too...
That's not too shabby...

Staying humble is when we have a “come to Jesus” moment. In football, we don’t want humble; we want fanatical aggression.

Re: Hope the Rams Stay Humble
I'd much rather be sitting at home as the #1 seed while the Niners have to go to Philly in the first round. Let Philly knock them off because I don't want to play SF again just because they are a division team and anything can happen.DelMar wrote: ↑November 26th, 2025, 11:26 am This has come to my mind as well...

I think the competition of the other top teams will keep them motivated. Staying in front of the Chickens and Whiners is a big deal of course, but so too is playing Detroit and getting that bye.

I agree. There is something special about this team right now. The talent is there to beat any team.GlendoraRam wrote: ↑November 26th, 2025, 3:09 pmStaying humble is when we have a “come to Jesus” moment. In football, we don’t want humble; we want fanatical aggression.

True , but we were outplayed by the colts and the seahawks . THose should have been losses , BUT yes we outplayed the Eagles and Niners , so those should be wins . So , it evens out . Our Record should be exactly 9-2.Rampager66 wrote: ↑November 26th, 2025, 2:04 pm Rams have wins over the Texans, Colts, 9ers, Hags, Jags, Ravens and Bucs.

Re: Hope the Rams Stay Humble
Disagree bro! We were not imo outplayed by the Colts. And vs the Hags our QB had 2 TD passes and 0 INT's, there's had 0 TD's and 4 INTS... don't see how that's outplaying us! In both games we made the plays when it mattered and they did not, it's why they lost!brasilrams wrote: ↑November 27th, 2025, 10:57 amTrue , but we were outplayed by the colts and the seahawks . First downs 26-12 seattle.
total Yards 414 - 250 seattle
The issue was Darnold threw 4 picks , that is the only reason we won but they outplayed US , IMO . After those 21 points in the first quarter our offense was basically 3 and out with every possession.
Same thing for the Colts , they outplayed us and if not for that idiot dropping the ball at the one yard line , they win .
So , imo , we should have lost those games . They played better but we still won . It is the other way around for the philly / 49ers game , we played better , we outplayed them , but we lost . So , imo 9-2 is FAIR .

Re: Hope the Rams Stay Humble
Still disagree bro... The Colts game, all the fumble on the 1 would have done is tie the game.... All the Stats you quote for Seattle over the Rams , Favor LA over Indy... 130 more total yards, 1st downs, the whole bit. You can't have it both ways bro...brasilrams wrote: ↑November 27th, 2025, 11:21 amBro cmon .....Rampager66 wrote: ↑November 27th, 2025, 11:13 am

And IMO in the Hags game, I say to you that our D OUTPLAYED their O all day and that's why they lost.
Not only did they snag 4 picks, they also held them to FG's 4 times. The Rams got their points on 3 TD's... RZ hags 1-4, Rams 3-4
The Hags moved the ball between the 20's alright, but the Rams D came up big when it counted... and the Hags O did not.

Re: Hope the Rams Stay Humble
Agree on the stats about the colts , I didn't check but I do think we outplayed them regarding those stats . That Fumble was a momentum killer though , if he scores like he should , I think the game would go a different way .Rampager66 wrote: ↑November 27th, 2025, 11:48 amStill disagree bro... About the seattle game , Our D allowed 414 total yards but came clutch when it mattered most . If our Defense outplayed their offense , what to say about their defense ?
their defense also outplayed our offense because despite the 3 tds in the first quarter ,we couldn't do ANYTHING , AT ALL for the rest of the entire game . NOt even kick a FG . 250 total yards on offense will not win many games . We can agree to disagree , no problem at all , but I think the 9-2 is fair .

Re: Hope the Rams Stay Humble
This is a great post. Hopefully McVay and staff will keep the team really focused. We lose any of the easy games that we shouldn't lose could spell doom for us in the playoffs. GB, Chi, Seattle, SF, and Philly are very close to us. Philly has a very easy schedule minus Buff @ Buffalo.
Winning the first seed nets us two great things they don't play in the first playoff round and no travel to cold hostel environments. If we stumble it will lessen our chances.
We should beat, Carolina, 2 AZs, ATL hopefully Det bc their secondary is banged up, the Seattle game will be difficult especially in mid Dec in Seattle. Remember if Philly wins out and we lose one and tie them they've Ave the tiebreaker. Tomorrow's nights game against Chi is huge.
The team needs to stay humble and focused.
