Rams favored by 7 @ Baltimore ???
Thankfully my major gambling days have passed but how are the Rams giving 7 to any NFL team let alone a truly desperate Ravens team at home ? This Rams team has been a sloppy group through 5 games with some major issues that apparently will not be addressed at this time. I see it as a must win given 2 games they have given away & a gift from the Colts. Always stayed away from games with inexplicable betting lines as they do not seem to reflect reality in the moment. Absolutely a must W game for our Rams.

Re: Rams favored by 7 @ Baltimore ???
It all seems to average out. Rams were gifted by the Colts, and the Rams gifted both Philly and SF.
I agree. Its a must win, and the offense needs to pour it on against a very bad defense.
I'll take Rams -7.

after watching the Ravens get dismantled last week against the Texans we should be able to go in there and kick their ass....however this is the season for the Ravens IMO

They are assuming Lamar Jackson is still out. If he plays that line will flip. Ravens had 8 starters out last week and Harbaugh said some of those guys will be back. Obviously LJ is the main guy tho

17 games don't leave much room for brain farts like last Thursday.
Hopefully the Rams smoke the Ravens, so I don't have to read the below after Sundays game (or during):
Fire this coach.
Fire that coach.
Bench this player.
Bench that player.
Refs are picking on Stafford.
McVay isn't yelling at the refs before the game starts.

You know McVay could beat on KW like the Cardinals coach did to his RB.

You know Mcvay could go "Gannon" on KW. That's always a good look on the sidelines when coach roughs up a RB.

How about double sessions in 100 degree heat. And you were not allowed to drink water. I remember after practice there would be a stampede to the nearest waterfountain.duanevalle22 wrote: ↑October 8th, 2025, 10:13 amOur high school and college coaches did it to us..... And tugged on the face mask as a nice final gesture.![]()
I remember in high school if you had to get helped or carried off the field a flower sticker was placed on your helmet. The player with most flower stickers on their helmets at the end of the season received the same number of carnation flowers at the end of the season football banquet. It was all in good fun.... Even the parents didn't get upset about it back in those days.

Exactly. No water but take these pills. I am surprised no one died. And that one water fountain was some old janky thing that you would avoid under normal circumstances for fear of disease.duanevalle22 wrote: ↑October 8th, 2025, 10:23 amOMG "HELL WEEK" in August was a nightmare!!!
I remember all of us running in full pads praying someone walking by would piss on me, I was so friggin over-heated.... An ya no water, but the coaches were nice enough to hand out those reddish pink salt pills so we wouldn't cramp.![]()

I have a bad feeling just like I had a bad feeling going into the 9ers game. I'm afraid we're going to shit the bed in this game and the Ravens will be completely desperate and I'm sorry the Sean McVay Rams haven't shown they win in these situations.
God I want to be wrong but just like the Steelers game two years ago in Sofi again another McVay resume killer we completely collapsed in the 2nd half of that game and gave it away to the Steelers and that's what I'm afraid of on Sunday vs Baltimore.

The line assumes Lamar, Roquon, Marlon Humphries possibly Ronnie Staley and Awusie are out that is a LT and star QB vs Cooper Rush on Offense and several all pro players on Defense which includes all pro Mauweka DT who is pn IR. Pass D is 31st in league they have given up 177 points on defense in 5 games that had a year where they didnt give that many points up in an entire season let that sink in.

No I did not see this post as taking everyone down. What I do think is some fans are quick to go negative and jump ship. In the first quarter last week someone I forget who said "they were out, and we're going to watch Gilligan Island?" The first quarter! The Rams were in multiple positions to win game. I am not so naive to think the Rams are a good team above reproach. Criticisms is due to everyone on the team for how Rams have played. The issue I have it is the first quarter and fans are over the top negative and critical. And Rampager I am not saying this is you.Rampager66 wrote: ↑October 8th, 2025, 10:33 amGood for WHAT? Re: Rams favored by 7 @ Baltimore ???
I know you aren't bro... And I agree that's just how some fans are... You can't dictate how others display their fandom.... And I don't get how that kind of BS unifies the fanbase. They are after all the ones who Financially and emotionally support the team and should be allowed to voice their displeasure w/o needing someone else's permission. BTW, the guy you're agreeing with, who doesn't like people saying this player, coach or manager needs to go when they screw up, the one who thinks this shit is up to them, at the end of his rant about this says.... "but the kicker needs to go" and you're in essence saying that you're ok with that kind of hypocrisy? We 're all sickening when we do it though... hmmmm.Jacksnow wrote: ↑October 8th, 2025, 4:51 pmNo I did not see this post as taking everyone down. Not going to lie. I am having the same vibe. I think we lose sunday . Baltimore is weak without lamar but they will be desperate and playing way more physical than us ( well , that is kinda normal for most teams ) . This team just lacks GRIT imo .ADonaldBeast wrote: ↑October 8th, 2025, 12:49 pm I have a bad feeling just like I had a bad feeling going into the 9ers game. I have a bad feeling before every game
But more so with games we’re heavily favored in
We don’t do well in those situations as I recall
Hopefully we play well and win
