This really puts things into perspective how successful we've been outside the 2015-2016 seasons.

Yet the McVay haters still come out of the wood work... Honestly, whenever I see that poster in here that just bags on Sean constantly, it blows my mind how retarded he sounds every time he post.

We are one well oiled machine team. The entire we not me thing truly shows. You see players come to the Rams from other squads and they pretty much all say the same thing... just how different the Los Angeles Rams are, the winning mentality... the hard work, an organization that actually cares for its players (even if youre on the Practice Squad)

Rams from top to bottom is one of the tops in league. Let's not take this McSnead regime for granted.... and yes, even to you guys who cry wolf the minute we lose a couple games. Above graph shows, it's a the long run that counts.

All McVay. The respect he gets around the league.

Honestly the last two years impressed me more than the Super Bowl teams that were loaded.
Fan since the 80s

And to add to what Felix posted………..

This team was 54-111 prior to McVay arriving and after Martz left. 50+ games under .500 over a 11 year period. Fact is it was the laughing stock of the league. Junior High offense do we not remember……………..

It is why I have said numerous times in here to some “did you just become a Rams fan?” And when they reply that past doesn’t matter I say really? I saw every one of those 165+ games did you? If you did then how the bleep can you not appreciate what McVay has meant to this organization and fan base. How can you not say I don’t want McVay to ever not be the HC of this team. He hasn’t already cemented for as long as he wants his job security with this team?

And really the only other coaches who perform on the level McVay has is who? Tomlin and Reid, Lafleur? Yeah, I would pay as much as I have to to keep Sean on my sideline. Finding coaching on this level is as tough as Finding a franchise QB.

Agree here. A good example would be the 2000 Ravens who won SB XXXV not because of QB's Trent Dilfer or Tony Banks but because of the Ray Lewis lead Defense and scheme of 2nd year HC Brian Billick.
Before going to the Ravens, he was the DC for the Vikings then, record setting defense, no doubt the reason he was given the HC job.
They didn't win very often that year because of their Offense...
I might add Shanahan to your list...

It's actually insane to see all the good hes done for this team. Hes definitely a top 3-5 coach in this league and I know I sound like a broken record, but this is the deepest team we've had in the McVay Era. Anybody could potentially step up in someone's place. Love this squad, and i need to start appreciating them and the team as whole. Im always dark n brooding after a loss. I need to stop taking this squad for granted.

I'm gonna add another point to what you said. From 2007-2016, we were the ONLY team without a winning season or playoff appearance. The only team.

I could argue its actually Tougher...

Let's look at the past 8 years since Sean took the helm....

Let's start w franchise QBs, I would say there have been about what, 10-13 in this time period.

Then when you look at 'franchise' coaches, I would say there have been about 5 to 6 MAX.

We can all guess the names for both QB and Coaches... as its pretty obvious who these guy are (give or take a few)...

GREAT Coaching by far imo, is harder to find...

I think that's pretty fair and quite possibly true.

I dont disagree that great coaching is probably a little more difficult to find...but a great QB can help a mediocre Coach more than a mediocre QB can help a great coach. If I had to have 1, I would probably lean toward a great QB.

Both of these can be absolutely true, but that wasnt the topic.

But, there are less franchise coaches than franchise QB's AND a franchise QB can def elevate a coach. In fact, I dont care how good of a coach you are, if you're QB is average, your team is average. I would choose a top Franchise QB all day long, look at Brady. He took two average coaches and won SB's (yes I believe Bill is an average coach).

Agreed. We ask to name "franchise coaches" and the list is much smaller than the "franchise QB" discussion. It is ironic that Bill used to be worshiped as one of the best ever...now we are not so sure. It is a great feeling to have a top coach, and a top QB at the same time.
