Cody Schroeder
I think this kid is going to beat out Rivers for the 4th RB spot. Why I am I talking about the 4th RB spot? For one, he went to my alma mater Mizzou, but the kid has as big of a heart as I have ever seen. If you noticed, the Rams never sent him to the practice squad last year because the 'Niners would have stolen him back and would probably do so again. He's slow as molasses but the kid just gets it done.

Re: Cody Schroeder
I love that we stole him away from SF last year too. They had some injuries at RB and could have used him. It's a total bonus for good Rams fans in St. Louis that he went to Mizzou. Just like Kyren Williams being a local kid from St. Louis. There are a lot of good Rams fans still in the Lou.Slickjack wrote: ↑July 24th, 2025, 6:19 am I think this kid is going to beat out Rivers for the 4th RB spot. Re: Cody Schroeder
I think hes going to be our return guy...
• Won award for best walk-on in the Country
• Was selected as a first-team ALL-American in 2023
• He averaged 30 yards per kick return in preseason
• Led NCAA in rising in 2021 at Truman St
• Was team Captain at Mizzou

Man we had some good times on there. One time I said we should go after Jake Long, and I was scoffed at. Two months later he was a Ram. Couldn’t wait to bring that post back to life.FelixTheStonerCat wrote: ↑July 24th, 2025, 2:27 pm100%. Re: Cody Schroeder
Its ironic how similar his skill set is to Kyren. However, its crazy how the offense stalls when Kyren isn't in there in recent years. We need to play with a lead so some of those other guys can get in there.

It really was a good place until the move happened. I gotta ask tho. Is this the same forum that used to be LaRamsFans? I was a long time reader before I joined.STL Woody wrote: ↑July 25th, 2025, 12:42 amMan we had some good times on there. One time I said we should go after Jake Long, and I was scoffed at. Re: Cody Schroeder
Ahhh, I remember that well. On the first day of free agency we were rumored to get Jake Long. I was in outside sales at the time and made sure I was working from home that day. I literally kept hitting the refresh button hoping we'd get Jake Long. We got him but nothing we did in those St. Louis days mattered because we sucked all the time. Soooooo many top 5 draft picks wasted.STL Woody wrote: ↑July 25th, 2025, 12:42 amMan we had some good times on there. One time I said we should go after Jake Long, and I was scoffed at. Re: Cody Schroeder
Cody beating out Rivers won't be easy bc of how good of a blocker Rivers is. Rivers knowledge of the offense and being a versatile player who rarely ever makes a mistake, helps too. Mcvay trust Rivers, which is huge.
With that said Cody has the talent and willpower to do it.

Re: Cody Schroeder
Thanks my brother and definitely nothing against Ronnie. Maybe they can stash Ronnie on the IR and then everyone is "happy". I know McVay loves Ronnie but Kroenke has some huge ties to University of Missouri which can not be underestimated if its a dead heat.

Schroeder may not me fast, but he certainly looks a bit shifty. Nice game for him.

He runs downhill like a fullback, I liked that, it’s a missing part of offenses these days.Claremontram wrote: ↑August 10th, 2025, 9:56 am Schroeder was very immpressive on Saturday; let's see how he does next week.
