Pretty much poetic justice for me, in that it’s what I was feeling when the bitch moved them East…what goes around…
This ^

Well stated RP, both sides are angry how we left Anaheim, then also St Louis. We all see that. It has been hashed and rehashed in here a thousand times.

But, let's put on our thinking caps for a moment shall we?

Let's start by comparing the owners...

Ms Frontiere, a possible husband killer, no real cash to spend on team and had no clue what she was actually doing. We need to all admit that the Warner led Rams was a total fluke... in the sense that She had no clue Dick would coach as well as he was going to, that our backup QB that was stocking shelves would be the NFL and SB MVP, etc etc). We hit the lottery w that team.

Mr Kronk, an extremely successful business man, that could have bought Georgia 25 times over. If Stan sees a product on the field that could win it all, he pours more money and good people into it (just like all his professions team, all are winners), while on the other hand, Georgia wanted the limelight and could manage parts well. But there was no substance. Stan is a proven winner.

Of course Kronk wanted to move the Rams back to their rightful home BEFORE he bought the Rams. He knew Rams belonged in So Cal. Rams should have never went to St Louis, but there was not much of a choice, since Anaheim had enough of Georgia and St Louis was giving her the world to move to the MO.

So, Stan saw a product that had been absolutely DEAD since about 2004ish. The Rams dark ages of 2004-2015 were downright dreadful, it was a decade of SUCK. Georgia went through GM's and Coaches like she did her Manhattan's and Martini's. The woman had no means, and no brains to get us out of SUCKVILLE. I used to fly back to St Louis for years to watch Rams games, and it got really hard after 2003. $3500 to spend a wkend showing up to a half full dome and a garbage product on the field.

The way I see it, Stan completely saved the Rams from imploding. He saved a team that was in such a dark abyss of suck and darkness, that it took him years to get it done. We should be so blessed and lucky to have Stan, it just blows my mind when ANY Rams fan, no matter where you are from say bad things about Stan. Shame on those peeps. Seriously.

Let's compare 2005-2014 to 2015-2025. HA! there is no comparison, its the tale of two teams. One was lost, created an eroded fan base, and had no finances to get us out of the hole Georgia put us in, while Stan had a plan, put up all his own money, and wagered more than half his fortune (at the time) that Rams could win again and be back where they belonged.

While I feel bad for all you St Louis Fans, it was a move that had to be done. No other choice. Stan is a business man, why invest in a state like MO when you could invest in Los Angeles where you triple our investment almost immediately.

Simply put, Stan saved our organization. I mean, we were worse than the BROWNS in those 10 years, we literally were the new Browns of the NFL.

Now, we're winning, winning and winning while also playing the state of the art stadium and soon to be practice facility and home offices.

Now, as for Dumoff, he is a rat.
WRONG on Kroenke !!!
He and Dumb off the minion, lied every chance they got to St Louis for years !

So, you are a business owner... are you going to keep putting money into a dead end situation where the other party cant keep up or put money into the investments like they promised?

Nope.

Wrong or not, everyone knew St Louis couldn't keep up w the ever changing NFL... it is what it is. Sounds like you're still bitter. Life is too short to be that way. My suggestion, move on and deal w it.

imo, we have a good owner that is a business man. They tried St Louis, and the state and city didnt follow through w commitments. Maybe Kronk got a little shady in how to deal w it, but he knew, like many smart people in business know... if you're going to put up billions of your OWN dollars, you want to maximize your return.

Since moving to LA, Rams went from bottom to almost the top in Value. Rams have a top product on the field. We have some of the best coaches in staff in the league. And so much more

Like Kronk or not, it is what it is... it was a SMART move no matter how you want to look at it. 🤷🏼‍♂️

(and again, we agree on Dumoff. I am not a fan of him).

I said it 100 times before and I’ll say it again. The decision makers in St. Louis at the time are the only ones to blame for them coming back to LA period. They were so desperate in getting the NFL back that they sold their soul on the binding contract on the contractual obligations they had in upgrading the dome to the level that was in the contract and binding when it was time. They never thought Kroenke would call them on it. There was no “yes but” in that contract and that was proven when Kroenke won when it went as far as it did in court.

A smart business man in Kroenke put the mandatory dome upgrades in contract and called them on it period. He had every right to do so which will never ever be acknowledged by those in St. Louis…………….

Simple as that... Either city I love the Rams.. I had no bone in the city war as I became a fan in Michigan. But LA Rams is what always sounded right to me... I'm glad they came home

I still just cannot understand the hate for Kronk. It makes people look inept or ignorant...

Like I said, maybe he got a little shady, but I would think most would after all the boondoggling the city and state was doing. They kept breaking agreements, pushing out dates, etc. back tracking and constant bickering... while Kronk is sitting there losing money...

Kronk made the right move.

They don’t realize, and wont take the time to learn, that he won on a binding business deal.

Sure maybe he knew they wanted a team back so bad that they would ignore the upgrade to the dome when it was time contractually to upgrade. Maybe he knew if they did do the upgrades it just delayed him a few more years in getting back to LA. Who knows. Bottom line both parties signed the agreement. Bottom line it was deemed in a court of law that Kroenke was right. Bottom line St. Louis learned that the relocation clause that the NFL had was secondary, meant nothing, to the contract between the Rams and St. Louis. Bottom line those in St. Louis refused to educate themselves on what really took place and continued to spin it in a direction that was uneducated nonsense.

The NFL fans in St. Louis were misled by the local sports media and many civic leaders, who told them that the city's failure to fulfill the lease agreement's so-called 'top tier clause' somehow didn't really matter, in terms of the Rams franchise returning to southern California.

To my recollection, the team didn't misrepresent its intention to relocate back to Los Angeles once that legal requirement had gone unfulfilled, although some local government officials insisted that St. Louis coming up with a stadium construction proposal would force Stan Kroenke to keep his franchise there. The fact that the team evinced *zero* interest in the city's new stadium plan clearly indicated that the Rams' return to southern California had already been decided, however the local sports commentators continued to claim otherwise.

As for Kevin Demoff, he's merely the spokesperson for the team, whatever he did or didn't state came directly from Kroenke; it's ridiculous to demonize him for decisions made by the franchise's leadership, although many angry NFL fans in St. Louis did that and even continue to do so today.

If someone should be criticized, that would be Dean Spanos and Marc Davis, for their last-minute, totally unrealistic 'alternative' relocation proposal, which the league's owners properly dismissed... :? :x

No room for hate on this one... Kronke has taken the Rams from down and out to an elite organisation... St Louis did everything they could to lose the Rams.. pure and simple.

As DM just posted with his emoji just laughable……..

You all continue all these years later to ignore the contract. How convenient. Also ignore the fact if St. Louis would have just done the contractual upgrades to the dome the Rams, at least for the next several years, would have remained in St. Louis. But no they back peddled n said those upgrades would be too damn expensive and it would be cheaper to build a new stadium. A alternative option that one was never in the contract and two was fantasy land and was never going to happen n St. Louis knew it. But hey it was Kroenke operating in bad faith. High court of law said otherwise but hey it’s easier to say he lied blah blah blah.

Yep the NFL did back them. Too bad you don’t know when actually that took place, in regards to ok if this doesn’t happen we will back you, and the conversations that took place between Kroenke n the NFL. It’s not even close to how you think it all went down. Not even close.

People can put it which ever way you want to but I'm pretty sure that Kronke was well aware that St Louis would not be able to hold their end of the bargain and yes he bought the team knowing full well that they would move to LA.. But ultimately its 100% St Louis fault, all they needed to do to keep the team in StLouis was upgrade the stadium which they failed to do.

For me, the Rams belong in LA and St Louis was just an unfortunate pit stop to get where we needed to be. Having said that, I will always have a soft spot for StLouis and i hope they get a team one day.

F yeah they belong in LA. I am so tired of hearing about this topic. STL should never have gotten the Rams in the first place. We all know about Georgia no sense in beating the dead horse to death. For anyone bitching about this move on for christ sake
