Re: Ramsey Deal Breaker
Also, Apparently Cards are looking at Ramsey (who have a lot more cap space than Rams)

Re: Ramsey Deal Breaker
I posted this text by Breer yesterday and JMO it is not a deal breaker. I highly suspect Miami knows it will have to pick up a portion of his salary………
If Az knows he would prefer the Rams they would be foolish IMO to trade for him. Why? Because I’ll admit like others have that he is not an easy player to deal with if he isn’t happy where he is at.

Re: Ramsey Deal Breaker
this isn't anything news breaking IMO. I don't think there is a team out there that will assume 100% of his contract.NorCal RF wrote: ↑May 2nd, 2025, 9:43 am I posted this text by Breer yesterday and JMO it is not a deal breaker. Re: Ramsey Deal Breaker
Also, what if he doesn't connect well w Shula... which I think is highly possible. Ramsey made it work when he played w us, mainly because he was at the top of his game. Now, hes slower and older, yet still wants to be paid at top 3 in his spot.NorCal RF wrote: ↑May 2nd, 2025, 9:43 am I posted this text by Breer yesterday and JMO it is not a deal breaker. I think if we did make this work, Ramsey will have to accept a different role than he had w us last time....

Correct me if I’m wrong but Shula was on staff when Ramsey was here………DelMar wrote: ↑May 2nd, 2025, 10:39 amAlso, what if he doesn't connect well w Shula... which I think is highly possible. Re: Ramsey Deal Breaker
Here's another thing about Ramsey that might have me looking at Alexander should he be released, and despite the injuries... Ramsey's play wasn't all that great last season. Maybe scheme things and other injuries across their D unit were a factor in that.. But nonetheless the play wasn't great.

Re: Ramsey Deal Breaker
I don't want to buy high on this acquisition. If they pay a good portion not 4m as some have suggested I am fine with it. He was 37th rated by PFF out of 110 I think which is an upgrade but not a steep upgrade plus the compensation will be a consideration.
Look I know he knows Shawn and the system, but so what a good CB can learn the system fast enough that is why their moniker is Pro.
There are other options Alexander (possibly) Bradbury, Samuels Jr. Ward, Murphy, Gilmore not commenting who is better but there are other way cheaper options. I worry the love for the PAST RAMSEY could hurt us acquiring the FUTURE RAMSEY.
