Re: Chiefs pursuing OBJ
The Chiefs aren't pursuing anybody yet...this was all guys speculating and of course KC COULD be a landing spot for OBJ. They have a dynamic offense that is passcentric (is that a word?) and a superstart young QB
The Rams also offer a dynamic offense but he will be #3A or 3B on this team and could be #2 on KC
The off-season happens hopefully later than sooner and we'll find out then

Re: Chiefs pursuing OBJ
Don't forget about Hardman and Robinson. they are loaded at WR highly unlikely he would fit in there. He is staying in LA IMOmalibu wrote: ↑January 29th, 2022, 8:55 amKelsey and Hill are 1/2 he still will be 3sanbagger wrote: ↑January 28th, 2022, 4:44 pm The Chiefs aren't pursuing anybody yet...this was all guys speculating and of course KC COULD be a landing spot for OBJ. Re: Chiefs pursuing OBJ
I see a world where we cut Woods, sign OBJ for a year then resign Woods when he is healthy. Woods will be out till at least November. The other thing to consider will be whether or not Rams win SB. Id say guys are like I got my ring now show me the money. If we dont get there then maybe they think differently.

Re: Chiefs pursuing OBJ
I had not even thought about RW not being fully healed at the beginning of next season. If we could keep OBJ and get RW healthy and back in the line up even mid season next year I would love to see what McVay had in mind when we signed OBJ to compliment Kupp/RW not replace RW. Just something to look forward to for next year.....Simdaddy wrote: ↑January 29th, 2022, 9:24 am I see a world where we cut Woods, sign OBJ for a year then resign Woods when he is healthy. Re: Chiefs pursuing OBJ
Let the Chiefs pursue him...
Kupp. Trees, VJeff, and Higs plus the depth players at each position... I don't see a problem there
Can't give up on VJ imo, and he'd be left out alot if they tried to keep everybody.
The next 2 games may also influence that, if there is 2 more games and what OBJ contributes to those results.

Re: Chiefs pursuing OBJ
I wasn't counting the TE's when ranking the WR's....I agree Kelce is a big part of that offense, but as far as WR's go he would slide right into that 2 hole....the guy has terrific hands, just catches everything...but he has lost a little speed...still fast enough but not like he was speed wise IMO.malibu wrote: ↑January 29th, 2022, 8:55 amKelsey and Hill are 1/2 he still will be 3sanbagger wrote: ↑January 28th, 2022, 4:44 pm The Chiefs aren't pursuing anybody yet...this was all guys speculating and of course KC COULD be a landing spot for OBJ. Re: Chiefs pursuing OBJ
I think Jefferson would be excellent 2nd round trade bait for a draft-needy team like the Rams. I think OBJ wants to stay put as does Miller.
Woods is not going anywhere either in my opinion.

Re: Chiefs pursuing OBJ
Sounds like a bunch of garbage to me. OBJ was already a free agent and he chose to come to LA. Why would he leave?DMRamFan wrote: ↑January 28th, 2022, 4:30 pm If this is the case, I hope when we meet in the SB… that OBJ is the final dagger in beating the Chiefs.
Chiefs floated as potential offseason landing spot for Odell Beckham

Unless the money is just too good to pass up I think he will be a Ram again next year. Can you imagine Kupp, Woods, OBJ, and Jefferson. If we could find a way to bring Michel back too that would make for another awesome season.
But if I had to guess, Michel will look for more $$$ and a starting role next season.
