What do we want?
McVay is a good coach. A very good coach. But Shanahan has his number and so do others. Belichek exposed him in the Super Bowl and no one is afraid of him anymore. Do you think that Shanahan, needing ten yards to win a giant game, would just hand off three times when your O-line has been dominated? I realize that an incomplete pass stops the clock, but how about at least ATTEMPTING a creative running play? Offensive genius? Give me a break.
If we're satisfied being competitive and maybe winning a playoff game every year, fine. But if not, let's get someone with some balls who can inspire ferocious play in a ferocious sport. For the 7th-8th time in a row, the Rams looked like weaklings in the second half against an aggressive, physical 49ers team. Even the games they won before the 6 game slide, against inferior 49er teams, came down to the wire. The 49ers had more energy and more fight, as they always do. They kicked our butt once we let them drive the field and get the FG at the end of the first half. This was a disgusting loss. Our O line got whipped, we have NO running game, and Sean, you were again thoroughly out coached by your old boss.
One more thing. The Rams have got to be the only team that has no home field advantage. Every game seems to have more visiting fans than Rams fans. Do visitors get first dibs on tickets or is LA incapable of supporting a team? I've bled Rams blue & gold since the days of Gabriel, Snow, and the Fearsome Foursome. They had to leave town to win a SB. I sure would like to see a title for Los Angeles and Sean McVay is not going to deliver one unless he starts thinking differently.

Re: What do we want?
Consistency. Don't beat up on lesser teams and lose to shit teams. That's been the Rams MO since they came back to LA. Consistency, ball control and get that fucker morris the hell out of here! These are the things that I WANT. Also, take better care of the football, improve the offensive line. Like Jesus Christ, stop fucking trading away picks like it's an episode of Oprah. Ok. Thats enough. Goddamn niners got me fuming lmao.moonliner wrote: ↑January 9th, 2022, 8:51 pm McVay is a good coach. A very good coach. But Shanahan has his number and so do others. Re: What do we want?
Spot on , I also want a new DC . I also want someone to tell mcvay he can draft stud O line men instead of gadget toys that weights 130 pounds .bigklein wrote: ↑January 9th, 2022, 11:03 pm I wanted the Rams to play the same aggressive kind of defense they played in 99% of the first half. Why did that stop? I want better schemes.
I want an offensive coordinator.
I want Woods back.
I think I want Shelton at center instead of Allen.
I want a monster LB in the draft.

Re: What do we want?
Actually they were winless (0-4) in real, "trying-to-beat-you" NFC West games, however they got a couple of automatic 'forfeits'... :( :?
ram pathos...

Great points and we can still win this thing-one game at a time and hope someone knocks off GB before we have to go there.....

Re: What do we want?
Yes, the failure to ice the game was heartbreaking, couldn’t do anything, and couldn’t stop anything…
Should not have gone into OT, their drive(s) were way too easy…
But the Rams gave their all…
It looks to come down to the same old story…
Where’s the BEEF…

Re: What do we want?
So weird how the 49ers WR's seem to be running back/wide receiver hybrids and we can't tackle them. Shanahan drafts a certain type of WR and though they seem to develop slowly once they are ready they really whip our defense's a s s. The entire 49er mentality is our kryptonite and yet again McVay whussed out in the face of his ex boss. I'll give McVay some credit for coming out and getting a good lead but that series at the end of the 2nd qtr and the last time we had the ball in the 4th qtr were just not in his character to be so conservative and basically were just terrible play calls. A 60 minute football game is mixed with highs and lows but those two series were very obvious momentum changers. The defense allowed a QB who can't throw more than ten yards down the field to roll 88 yards in less than a minute and a half due to WR's running all over our defense backs and a QB looking like the second coming of Joe Montana against a bend but don't break strategy that fits poorly against a dink n dunk offense.

I wish I could be in each locker room during halftime to see what was said! I knew the game was far from over but maybe the Rams bought into their halftime lead hype because the Niners just came out and beat our butts. Total halftime adjustments made on the Niners sideRammo wrote: ↑January 10th, 2022, 6:06 am So weird how the 49ers WR's seem to be running back/wide receiver hybrids and we can't tackle them. Re: What do we want?
The Niners went in at halftime with a little boost from getting three at the end of the half and saw that the Saints were not going to let them back into the playoffs by losing. They knew that they had to make it happen themselves and they kicked it into a higher gear for the second half. Sadly, the Rams don't seem to have that higher gear.armyram wrote: ↑January 10th, 2022, 6:11 amI wish I could be in each locker room during halftime to see what was said! Re: What do we want?
It was pathetic that the marched downfieild on 3 plays. Its almost like this was fixed. Just sad to see such wide open receivers when you know they have NO timeouts. Insane. Morris? Secondary? I want a change in both spots. Need better guys back there.
