Chargers are getting all their guys back. Rams are getting most of our guys back.
Los Angeles VS Los Angeles IN Los Angeles.
Now imagine that...(except for Cleveland, we already know what you think turd brain).
Both legitimately have a shot imo. I watched the Chargers a lot this season, being in LA. When the Chargers were healthy this season, they could beat anyone, the only reason they are barely squeaking in is because they had a lot of guys out for a while (they will beat the Raiders). When the Rams weren't healthy, we still beat just about everyone. This could be a story book ending.
AFC: Titans and Chiefs are very beatable. Bengals knocked off the Chiefs, not many expected that. Titans are getting Henry back which could take them over the hump, but wouldnt it be crazy if it was a Titans/Rams SB, again.
NFC: Everyone keeps talking about GB, but GB is beatable. TB proved that last year. NFC comes down to us vs one of these teams imo. And I think since we have a healthy Akers back, we are about to really open up the playbook. Gaines is also back which helps our line. Robinson making some great plays as of late as well. If Staff can pull his head out of his a$$ for 3 quarters and make it a solid 4 quarters of smart football... Watch out. We have Powell back there returning punts, so thats one less worry. We are clicking guys at the most important time to start clicking. All cylinders going... So important right now.
Guys, think about this. At one point we had 33 guys out w Covid. And we still won. Think about that.
If you are legit Rams fan... you should be going nuts right now. Seriously. And it all starts by BEATING San Fran this Sunday... BOOK IT.
BOOM. Buckle up

Re: Rams/Chargers Superbowl @ Sofi...
I am pulling for a Rams/Buffalo SB for selfish reasons. My daughter's boyfriend's sister is married to the nephew of the owners of the Buffalo Bills. We played golf together a couple times and my daughter is great friends with him. I am hoping to figure out away to grab SB tickets. (They probably wouldn't let me wear a Rams jersey so not 100% sure I would even go if invited.) ;-)
It would be interesting to see who would get more attendees between Chargers and Rams. My guess it would be 70% Rams fans.

Pointless sillyness. You know it won't happen.
((Both legitimately have a shot imo))
Neither remotely has a shot.
What I think has nothing to do with it. It's what does the nfl want and they won't let that happen.
Chargers are losing to Raiders Sunday anyway.

Re: Rams/Chargers Superbowl @ Sofi...
Rams are playing at a pretty high level right now = a Rams loss would be surprising. That said, it's basically a playoff game for the fortyweiners (tho they can still back in with a loss), so it won't be easy of course.
I'd rather face Trey Lance at this point.

If Lance plays this week he has 70+ yards rushing and 2 TDs. Until they prove different, I have no trust in the Rams vs their bully stepfather.RamPower wrote: ↑January 4th, 2022, 1:43 pmRams are playing at a pretty high level right now = a Rams loss would be surprising. The Rams Kryptonite is short over the middle....Jimmy G's bread and butter is dink and dunk short over the middle...he has to because he can't throw that 20 yd out patternHellRam wrote: ↑January 4th, 2022, 2:50 pmThe Rams tend to do well against mobile QBs. With Jimmy SF destroys us with short chuck plays, timing and quick reads. I dont think Lance is at that level yet. Where as Jimmy gets rid of the ball fast as any QB in the league.Ramsfan08ny wrote: ↑January 4th, 2022, 2:46 pm If Lance plays this week he has 70+ yards rushing and 2 TDs. Jimmy G has been privileged to have played behind an extremely successful/physical run game vs Rams. Time to take that away, and show him what actual pressure from our D-front looks like.

Agreed...the O-line of the Niners has had their way with the Rams D-line....this is a different team even from earlier in the year

"BOOK IT"??
Our team has lost five straight games to the 49ers, while Jimmy Garoppolo is 4-0 vs. the Rams as the 49ers' starting QB.
While I hope that you're proven correct, you strike me as being overly optimistic about this divisional showdown, given the circumstances... ;) :?

Bingo. Talking up the Chargers is dumbBrooklynRam74 wrote: ↑January 4th, 2022, 4:48 pmYou SHOULD feel confident about the Rams.
Now the Chargers? Not so much.
Your "civic pride" Bowl never gonna happen. Chargers the ultimate screw-up, choke Franchise.
Dont really know why your speaking up for a San Diego team who took L.A. as a money grab.

That is where Von will pay dividends in stopping the run and adding Hollins into the lineup now that AShawn and Gaines seem to be playing the run better I think it will be harder sledding for them.

Lastly I think Lance will start and that is a major downgrade for the Niners.

Re: Rams/Chargers Superbowl @ Sofi...
Obviously not, since those Chargers actually won a championship, namely of the American Football League back in 1963.
In fact they manhandled the Patriots in that title game, something which the Rams have never been able to manage.
Dean Spanos strikes me as a total jackass, fortunately the NFL owners were smart enough to reject his 'smoke-&-mirrors' Carson stadium project six years ago.
Today's Chargers are illegitimate 'squatters' in SoFi Stadium, and they always will be... :( :? :x

Rams can beat anyone so of course I'm excited. We can lose to every team in the playoffs as well. Staffords put up some numbers but seems to struggle to adapt. He picks a target and if that guy is triple covered he's still going to throw it to him. I'd like to see Rams/Titans for a superbowl rematch personally if I got to pick.
