Yank Stafford for Wolfie If...
During the playoffs, if Jekyll and Hyde Stafford is having one of his "way off" games like he did yesterday against the Vikes, McVay, like a clever baseball manager, must go to the bullpen to save the game. We have Wolfie in the pen who knows the players, system, and playoff intensity. Stafford should be on a short leash.

This is such a bad take that Upland should put you in the corner and duct tape your mouth and fingers for the remainder of the season.
Sometimes I wonder if you know anything about quarterbacking.

Re: Yank Stafford for Wolfie If...
IDK man...I think he's just having some fun.....Safety has always loved the back-up QB all the way back to his days at STL PD. But this man crush thing kinda blew up and I think he just rolled with itDMRamFan wrote: ↑December 27th, 2021, 2:46 pmWhats worse is that I cant even look at Wolfie without thinking of Safety Blitz.
Every time they show him on TV i'm like... "Oh, it's safety's man crush".
I honestly wonder what Safety would do if he ever got the chance to meet him. I mean if Safety said 'Wolf, i'm your biggest fan. I have all your posters up and a shrine and lots of candles in my basement all dedicated to you".... He would NOT be lying.

Now there's an idea; how many downs would he last before limping home for the season?

If you want to go that route, I'd play Perkins first.Safety Blitz wrote: ↑December 27th, 2021, 12:16 pm During the playoffs, if Jekyll and Hyde Stafford is having one of his "way off" games like he did yesterday against the Vikes, McVay, like a clever baseball manager, must go to the bullpen to save the game. He'd respond " and Safety, I've been breathlessly following your journalistic insights on the PD and Rams Talk since I was just a sophomore QB in Jacksonville, fantasizing that someday you'd name your last born or at least your dog after me and that Shad Khan would buy the Jags and bring winning football to the city." Mutual admiration society for sure.DMRamFan wrote: ↑December 27th, 2021, 2:46 pmWhats worse is that I cant even look at Wolfie without thinking of Safety Blitz.

Ummmm, didn't "playoff intensity" sideline the guy in the first quarter of the only postseason contest he's ever played in...?? :cry:Safety Blitz wrote: ↑December 27th, 2021, 12:16 pm

I think the Rams will look similar to the way the Saints did last night with either Perkins or the Holmes lookalike in there.

Oh please. If Stafford threw 10 interceptions I do not ever want to see Wolford behind center.

Wait....are you suggesting that 1945 is a zombie? He rose from the dead to walk among us again?

So it's okay to gaslight as long as it's your kind of gaslighting? Got itDMRamFan wrote: ↑December 28th, 2021, 10:56 am Here is what I think...
I think Safety Blitz just threw his net out in the honey hole spot of the sea... with everyone that fell for this thread.
He did better than 1945ram (formally knows as Cleveland) has ever done.
Good haul, SB 8-) Maybe your best catch ever.

Hmmm. Waaaaaaaaay back, when I might, (or might not), have been Dick84, I might, (or might not), have agreed with you. ;)DMRamFan wrote: ↑December 28th, 2021, 8:54 pm Gaslighting: one who presents a false narrative to another group or person which leads them to doubt their perceptions and become misled (generally for the gaslighters' own benefit), disoriented or distressed.
Please, give me ONE… just ONE example of me gaslighting.
Safety Blitz and I are fine. We kid each other. He post crazy stuff, so I laugh.
What’s your point?
On a personal note, Toast… I’ve tried to work w your posting abilities for sometime now. I’ve tried to understand how much you trash the team and your ‘Stafford no excuses’ post, and so on… and at this point, I think you have a problem.
I’m not sure what influence you are on at times, but it’s extremely apparent you are on something, maybe alcohol. Your post are so erratic it’s nuts. Calling people ‘faggots’ and so on. So up and down.
I’ve had enough. You’re trash. Not sure who has time for your crap.

Re: Yank Stafford for Wolfie If...
Wow, this is worse than the yank Goff for Wolfie talk that we had last year. So, I will say the same thing I said last year about Goff. Stafford is clearly the best qb on the roster. We live and die with him.

Re: Yank Stafford for Wolfie If...
Regarding Goff -- I don't recall AD every calling for that but if he did shame on him. Maybe, if he would have played better against Green Bay.......BrooklynRam74 wrote: ↑December 29th, 2021, 6:24 amThe REAL difference is, there is not one soul on the planet who wants Stafford yanked for Wolford. But last year it was a fair enough argument and people like Aaron Donald and Sean McVay called for it. See the difference...?
McVay? I remember him playing it coy. Clearly, he wanted Goff to be hurt so he could start Wolford without having to make a decision. Then Goff came in off the bench, outplayed Wolfie and won McVay a playoff game against their bitter rival. .... That whole scenario must have really must have pissed McVay off.
