Re: Rams @ Vikings... Who you got and why?
Rams payback tour continues. Vikings must pay for not helping out the rams. The Vikes lost to the cards, Packers and Niners. Damn, no help at all. Now it's time for them to finally help the rams by taking this L
Rams 34 Vikes 20
I was off with this one by some points. But we did get the win.

Re: Rams @ Vikings... Who you got and why?
Obviously stopping Jefferson and Cook are the keys. Put Ramsey on Jefferson. Rams run D has looked good of late; but Cook is elite. Minnesota has been in a lot of games and does not get blown out; although they did not look great against the Bears. Easiest game left on the schedule; if you can call it that. Rams must win this one....

I have the Rams as a small favourite. At current odds i'd say the Vikings were value. Then again, i'm not a successful gambler on NFL games.
I think we'll need to start fast as the short week and road travel will impact us, especially as we have multiple players returning after covid19.

Re: Rams @ Vikings... Who you got and why?
If the Rams can't defeat this mediocre Vikings team, then they don't deserve to be in the NFC playoffs.
The only reason that the Bears lost to the Vikings on Monday night is that the Bears have incredibly poor coaching, I'd venture... :( :?

Taking the Rams by 7. The team will be up for this game because they clinch a playoff spot with a win.

Re: Rams @ Vikings... Who you got and why?
I don't see a defensive battle like we saw Tuesday. Both teams with plenty of fire power, and holes in the defense. Time for payback for all of those playoff losses in the 70s. Vikings score late and we once again, hold our breath during the onsides kick.

Re: Rams @ Vikings... Who you got and why?
Vikings are a funny team. As their coach said after they almost lost a big lead to Pittsburgh recently. “ They played like they could beat anyone in the first half and played like they could lose to anyone in the second half. They are currently.500 at 7-7 but they could easily have won at least three more games if not for a couple of missed field goals and late mistakes but they also barely pulled out a couple of games with last minute heroics. You have to stop their running game which is potent with Dalvin Cook and Mattison. Cousins has had a good season but still can struggle with pressure. Bears got to him on Monday Night and he only had 89 yards passing in the 17-9 win. Jefferson is their main receiving threat. Thielen has missed the past few games with an ankle injury so he is probably another game time decision for Sunday. Rams can’t sleepwalk in the first half like yesterday or they will be in trouble. Minnesota defense is below average. Stafford is 8-13 vs the Vikings but the 8 wins is his second most wins in his career against any NFL team. Rams owe Minnesota lots of disappointment for the 70’s. Rams win would clinch a playoff spot. Rams 31 Vikings 21

Re: Rams @ Vikings... Who you got and why?
The Rams HAVE to stop Cook and that's a tall order....I'm not certain they will be able to control him. The Vikes will be short on the WR side due to Thielen being injured so Ramsey needs to blanket Jefferson all game....Morris has been using Ramsey as a rover type all year with the exception of Seattle last week....will he play a sort of box and 1 style with everybody in zone except Ramsey?
Vikes defense is gettable and the Rams should fairly healthy.....they don't have anyone that can match up with Kupp and the pass rush is not that great
I see a Rams win 31-24

My brain says we should win but my gut says loss. Trying to get rid of the negative vibe but I feel like a loss is coming. - Contributing factors maybe -- Rams affected by short week and Covid outbreak, Vikes need it more, rams are coming off of 3 good games or maybe just the normal ebb and flow of the nfl season.

Re: Rams @ Vikings... Who you got and why?
Problem I see in this game is Zimmer knows Stafford oh so well. I feel like he'll bait him into some bad decisions. I think McVay needs a conservative plan in this one and to load up with an extra O Lineman and pound it at the Vikings.

Re: Rams @ Vikings... Who you got and why?
For me the game will come down to this... The Rams D will get more stops then the Vikes D will....
As long as we don't self destruct... they won't be able to get off the field..
Minnesota is bottom 10 in both Pass and run D and can be had with either..
Stop their run game and make them beat us with the pass...
I think the Rams win this one easily
38-23

IF Thielen is not on the field Sunday-he and Cousins (ribs) are both questionable that is HUGE for the Rams.
There is a way to contain Cook, give him his yards and win the game.
Continue running the ball, hopefully LA will be healthy enough to go to the Heavy package and control POSS. Minny is 2nd in RZ efficiency but also in sacks allowed. This bodes well because in the last 3 games the D for LA has been a comer with 99 leading the way. LA is 2nd rank in passing TDs, 27th in rushing TDs allowed.
So keep the ball away from Cook and force Cousins to play catch-up. They could win by 3 or 14 I give up trying to call scores- just control the game Rams, that's all I want for Xmas lol!
Hopefully Rams lead at the half so the Magical McVay stat can go into effect~

Having just seen this news I believe Dalvins absence now heavily limits the Vikings options on offence.

Re: Rams @ Vikings... Who you got and why?
Again all about exploiting other teams struggles……………
Vikings D #1 in sacks………….
Vikings D 27th in rushing yards allowed………
Vikings D 29th in passing yards allowed………..
Establish run early to keep those rushers honest and then attack them however you want against what is a weak D…………..
Turnovers only thing preventing Rams offense from a big game as long as Havs is back……………..

Mattison is a very good back. I’ve been watching him all season and he’s a beast. I don’t see a huge drop off with him starting. He has started 3 games this year for the Vikes and balled in all 3. Do not take him lightly.

Re: Rams @ Vikings... Who you got and why?
The rams winning this game helps the Niners make the playoffs
I'm predicting a win for the rams of course, but the niners no longer control their destiny due to various 3 way tie scenarios with saints, eagles and vikings.
With that said I rather see the rams win out and deliver the final nail in the coffin to the niners.
How sweat would that be.
Payback tour continues.

Re: Rams @ Vikings... Who you got and why?
3 wins in Minnesota in our entire history??? when did they get their team 1960??
Not too many things go your way when it goes on for that long....
One of these visits it's all going our way and we are just going to explode on them...
Like the ravens did their last game @ LA Rams...
This could be it... but any win will suffice...
Go Rams
