Truth,
He was so smooth last year at Alabama. He really sees the field well and like most of the good QBs he never seems to hurry. Dam* and the Patriots got him.(lol)

Stafford is clearly hurt. Either that or he stinks. Do I think he's hurt. VJ drops a lot of easy passes. Afraid he may have to go too.

Talk to a Lions fan. It's the Stafford experience. No way we can beat a decent team the rest of the way. And where is Donald?DMRamFan wrote: ↑December 5th, 2021, 2:42 pmI’m really having a lot more doubts w Staff. If he’s insured, which it seems that he is, he should be out. If he isn’t, and this erratic play is really who he is…
I’m not sure I want him leading this team next year. Honestly, I had really high hopes for the guy. But these ducks he keeps tossing isn’t even pro level throws. So many passes behind guys, it’s weird.

The Patriots just seem to understand how to get the best out of their players and Quarterbacks. Remember the year Brady got hurt? NE did not win the Super Bowl, but they still had a good record and team. The organization certainly knows what they are doing. Well, most of the time.

Re: Jags @ Rams Game Thread
The D held them to 85 yards for the half... they gave them another half that amount on penalties. Despite the ST gaffs imo, the Rams win that because Gay's 3 FG are the difference in the game right now.
The Rams Offense imo needs to settle down commit to the rujn a bit and try and work back into the rhythm that was working earlier in the season or some new one. Tough w/o Woods but it is what it is.

Re: Jags @ Rams Game Thread
Stop. Old news. The Rams did not win in 2001 in the big game? Because they showed up flat. The last time they lost because their coach was not ready for prime time. The Patriots have a better organization than the LA Rams. Hard to say, but true.
The same old excuses get old. Bad decisions are just that bad decisions.

Re: Jags @ Rams Game Thread
DMRamFan,
The Rams as an organization in my years of watching the club. I.e. 64 years. Have done things and made decisions you have to just shake your head. Sure the Pats cheated, but what did the league do about it? Not much. The punishment certainly did not meet the level of the crimes. Depends on the years I can give you many examples of teams pulling stuff and the league looked the other way. These days Tom Brady is the player and any team he plays for will get the breaks. NE was a glamour franchise when Brady was with the team. Nothing changes. Today the Bucs are most see TV. It is called NFL marketing. The Rams in my opinion have been hosed more than any team since I have watched the NFL. Did you know Troy Aikman was given a gag order NOT to reference the 2018 playoff game between the Rams and the Saints. Yep, it's true. The Saints only got screwed once in that particular game. LA got hosed for four quarters and Aikman knew it. He suggested what was going on in the game. The league told him to shut up.

Re: Jags @ Rams Game Thread
Hags/9ers is a pretty good tilt. Seattle looks like they will be no pushover in a couple weeks. They seem to be getting better every week...
Hags throw the pick inside the 5 and the 9er DB runs it out of the EZ to the 3. JG10 gets sacked for the safety... should have stayed in the end zone with the pick....

Re: Jags @ Rams Game Thread
I remember we had this conversation after I said he may not succeed. You responded that no doubt he will be great. Trust me, you know more about him than I ever will but I just know that every QB in the NFL is a great QB, other wise they wouldn’t make it this far…. But the situation that they are put in can dictate their career. Put him on the Rams…. Well then ?DMRamFan wrote: ↑December 5th, 2021, 3:19 pm Funny… during the draft, I swore Lawrence would be great. And maybe he will be, but this dude has a long way to go.
I stand corrected and admit that I was wrong. For this season at least. Jags have a long way to go. Not sure Meyer has what it takes to succeed in the NFL. I mean we already know he doesn’t make smart decisions off the field.
Time will tell.
