Agreed SJD would add some quality rotational depth to shut down the 49er run game.

McVay said that Ernest Jones is the one with best chance to play this weekend. Translation for me is that SJD will not be on the field

That’s a name I almost forgot about. But like i’ve said several times already. Even if we win the Super Bowl, I think we are going to be even more improved next year. My hopes are that we can somehow keep Von Miller, OBJ, Woods, AND Michel. But i’ve got a feeling that at least one of them will be gone next year. Maybe two.

I think you are right, but I am banking on a few things. Von already said he wants to retire a Ram he may take a bit less to stay, OBJ’s “Brand” is prob more successful with him in LA as a Ram. That might be the reason he turns down another contract else where. AD and Woods may be willing to restructure, I truly believe Stafford will give us a deal. I think Sony is gone. Someone will offer him a nice payday and he will be the guy. Above all I believe the Cap jumps up next year, and we will be done with a lot of dead money contracts.

I also agree that this team will be better next year. I think Arod leaving knocks GB down. TB retires and they blow that team up a lot of those contracts are up this year. Seattle will take another step back when Wilson leaves. We still have AZs number. I also think Dallas takes a step back with coach on the hot seat.

We need SJD back to replace A'Shawn Robinson on those packages where we have 3 DTs. Usually on first downs and third-and-short. A'Shawn just doesn't seem to play as big as he is.

Never want to see anyone injured, however him being injured this year may be the reason we Cana afford him back next year.
