Akers fumbles
Had the Rams lost; much of the blame would be on Cam Akers, and rightfully so. We have to remember the kid has not played all season. He split time with Michell against the Cards last week. This was the first game he was asked to carry the load on the ground against a great run defense. I think he will be OK moving forward. He was not known as a fumbler last season. I'm hoping it was just rust. He is a more dynamic player than Michell; and I think that's why McVay has gone 100% his way. Rams need a bounce back game from him against the Whiners; and I think he will deliver.

Re: Akers fumbles
As just mentioned in another thread.. His primary focus up to this point was on getting his fitness back and getting out there on the field, to the detriment of practising running and ball protection techniques, which would have fallen by the wayside as a result of his rehab.
The latter will be his main focus this week in practice to get him back in the groove.
It's all fixable.
