Aaron Rodgers
Granted special teams failed them tonight I am done talking about AR. He can not win the big game. Who cares how great he plays in the regular season. Dude can't get it done when it counts.

Re: Aaron Rodgers
he is a freaking choke artist IMO. how do you score on the 1st series and don't score again?SoCalRam78 wrote: ↑January 22nd, 2022, 9:55 pm All he had to do was lead them to a couple FG drives over 3 quarters. Yes. One was blocked. But he seemed to throw a bunch of garbage passes. His drive after the blocked punt was pathetic.
I believe he’s done there. Won 13 games 3 x in a row and no SB. Last two years as a 1 seed.

Terrible conditions for both teams. Glad the niners won… only because it sets us up if we take care of biz.

Re: Aaron Rodgers
The Packers D played more than good enough to win... Who will AR blame it on this time as he hints at moving on in his snitty little way...
Both bye teams got beat at home by the lowest remaining seed... one and done...
The question now becomes, how far will his stock drop after consecutive seasons of failure in the post season despite a most favorable situation each time.

Exactly, plus the first drive is scripted, I remember seeing many Rams games where we did the same thing, drive right down the field, only to go on to lose…

Re: Aaron Rodgers
Niners D is just nasty.
Which is why I said they are a bad matchup and a bigger issue then the cold.
Niners can get pressure with their front 4. They do not have to blitz and when they do send 5, watch out, bc your qb note likely is going down.
The niners LB core know how to stop the run, cover and get in the way of the short passes.

Re: Aaron Rodgers
I think there was a slight difference between the conditions Staff played in and what AR played in.SoCalRam78 wrote: ↑January 22nd, 2022, 10:29 pmSame D Staff threw 3 TDs against. And people were Losinf their minds after.
SF has a damn good D and they are hot right now. Reminds me of the Giants when they won it all....not great during the season but got hot towards the middle to latter parts and just kept rolling.
IF the Rams get the rematch so many of wanted it is going to be a tough game and very physical....I could see several fights as these guys just don't like each other.

Re: Aaron Rodgers
Absolutely agree. Assuming the Rams win today, I liked their chances much more playing in front of a hostile crowd in GB, vs playing in front of a hostile crowd vs the 9ers, a team that is playing as good as anyone, and a QB the Rams have no answer for.Cornell29 wrote: ↑January 23rd, 2022, 4:34 am Niners D is just nasty.

Rogers has already won the biggest game of all the Super Bowl. Can't win the big one? Nonsense.

Re: Aaron Rodgers
I agree with a previous poster. I think AR retires. If the 9ers had the draft capital I could see him ending up there, but who else could/would spend the pick a to acquire him? And, somewhere he would go??? Would GB listen to JJ if he offered Prescott and picks?

He doesn't want to go to a team that is rebuilding, so he wants a team that can win nowRamsfan08ny wrote: ↑January 23rd, 2022, 5:24 am I agree with a previous poster. I think AR retires. Here are some random off the top thoughts that might be a fit
1) Minnesota
2) Titans? - big cap hit but Tannehil aint the guy IMO
3) Cowboys? - Dak and Jerry might part ways
4) Steelers - Ben is toast
5) Bucs - TB might retire

Could you imagine Brady and AR retiring in the same year? That would be crazy.DMRamFan wrote: ↑January 23rd, 2022, 5:32 am News is coming out this morning that Brady is going to take a month after this season to mull his future as well. Even though there is still a year left on his contract.
To me, there would be nothing sweeter to send Brady home for good w his last game is a loss to the RAMS.
I always thought GB was overrated…even if they kicked our arse. I picked SF to beat them in the pool. I wouldn’t have mind playing GB. Stafford has had some good games in the cold.

I'm no Rodgers fan but, getting a punt blocked for a TD at the end of a tight game usually means you lose. Reminds me of that game against the Vikings when they blocked our FG attempt and took it back for a TD. The Vikings had some kind of voodoo curse over us in the 70's.

Re: Aaron Rodgers
I think the Rams could have held their own in cold weather. We would have definitely scored more than 2 offensive FGs. We would have had to score 24+ to win though since our defense probably wouldn't have held them to 10. Stafford has played in GB and Chicago a lot...he throws a good cold ball. Not saying we would have beat GB on the road but I think we had a 50/50 chance. Doesn't matter any longer...let's beat Tampa!BrooklynRam74 wrote: ↑January 23rd, 2022, 8:07 amIsnt that the SAME reasoning why you dont want to play San Francisco??? Against us Jimmy and the Niners are God?
And yeah, that's right, I DONT believe the Rams can win in 20 degree weather. 1989 notwithstanding, but I dont think it was "Green Bay" cold in either Philly or New Jersey for those games.

Re: Aaron Rodgers
10 pts on special team blunders killed them as well. Seemed to me he was only looking at Adams the entire game.SoCalRam78 wrote: ↑January 23rd, 2022, 8:40 am Niners defense is excellent. And Rodgers craped the bed. Both things can be true. How many 3 and outs did he have?
Not like he needed to generate a ton of offense. Green Bay’s defense was excellent.

Re: Aaron Rodgers
like Michael Irvin said after the game it still fell on Aaron Rodgers. Look at their last offensive play on 3rd down. He chose to throw into double coverage to Adams, again, while his other WR was wide open over the middle. He hits him it would have gone for 40 yrds. He just doesn't show up in the playoffs.

Re: Aaron Rodgers
of course those 2 plays were huge but you can't tell me AR played well. he sucked just like he did last year in their playoff loss. Say what you want but Tom Brady makes the right decisions over and over and that is why he is the GOAT. You can't score 10 pts and expect to win.BrooklynRam74 wrote: ↑January 23rd, 2022, 9:21 amIrvin is wrong. Packers lost because they got a Punt Blocked in a 7-point Playoff Game with 4 minutes left (WHO does that) Everyone looking to blame Aaron, have at it, but that would be incorrect.ocram23 wrote: ↑January 23rd, 2022, 9:19 am like Michael Irvin said after the game it still fell on Aaron Rodgers.
