Was it worth it?
Campbell was there for the taking and we traded the pick. I like having another 1st next year but was that the right move? I guess time will tell. We still have a long ways before we pick. The first round seems to be pretty boring for the Rams lately.

It seems the Rams think long-term and personnel fit and personality and other things over just taking the BPA or taking a guy with skills that just don't fit the team for whatever reason. I can't blame them for having a good plan...just hope the guys they pick do indeed turn out to be useful for the Rams.

Re: Was it worth it?
I trust their draft process. They didn’t think the gap between 26-46 was large enough to pass up on a first next year. The third was a comp pick. I do think some of the guys the Rams wanted were all off the board.
Also the QB class is deep next year and way better than this year and having an extra first never hurts.

Re: Was it worth it?
You may be right. But we still have to face the Eagles at some point again this year. And I believe what Campbell said about the rich getting richer. Maybe we can find that ILB who can cover TE's later in the draft. And we still need to find a CB and TE. But yes, that extra draft pick will be nice next year when we have to find a replacement for Stafford.
