Bears are now 3-2. Good thing we beat them on opening day or we'd be trailing them in the conference.

I do feel that Herbert should be tied with Murray, but I get it.

We might get to see Allen and Herbert hook up in the AFC Final or one of them vs Mahomes
Should be good

Re: Week 5: Other Games
The thing I love the most about Herbert is that he's not a RPO gimmick/ running guy. Pure pocket first guy who can scramble when he has to. So he isn't near the injury liability like Murray and company are.Rampager66 wrote: ↑October 10th, 2021, 4:42 pmGood point.

2 games from Murray stand out from last year.
He brought the Cards back from 10 down with 2 minutes and change left vs the Hags for the OT win.
And they beat the Bills on a hail mary pass of 40+ yards on the last play of the game.

watched the cards and chargers play today and IMO they aren't close. would rather have the big guy throwing the ball....murray can be fun to watch but he got shutdown todayRampager66 wrote: ↑October 10th, 2021, 4:53 pmI see where you are coming from.

Nope was me replying to "Herbert no fluke and two major comebacks already this year" As in Nope he isnt a fluke.
The question most Miami fans are asking is, why Tua?

Oh Ok. You usually sound pretty knowledgeable about the game so I didn't think you were against the grain there but.... guess it was a wording thing.

I personally think goff is done . He will be a back up pretty soon if not on the lions , on some other team just like trubisky . He is now , 0-13 without mcvay , other head coaches cannot or ( won't ) read the defense for him .

Re: Week 5: Other Games
Well, the Browns made Justin Herbert look like an All-Pro today by deciding not to cover the Chargers' WRs at critical points during their matchup. Then the Chiefs copied the Browns' defensive approach during their collapse at home vs. the Bills, with similar results.Rampager66 wrote: ↑October 10th, 2021, 4:42 pm

The 'Super Bowl loser syndrome' clearly is affecting the Chiefs at this point--Patrick Mahomes looked like perhaps the #24 starting QB in the NFL, he was missing open receivers all evening.
Right now, the Bills look like the AFC's best team, they play much better on "D" than the Chargers, Chiefs or Browns.
Cardinals vs. Bills in Super Bowl LVI, perhaps...??
ram pathos...

Well, the money wouldn't have mattered, unless our team had been willing to jettison Sean McVay and replace him as head coach with Brandon Staley.brasilrams wrote: ↑October 10th, 2021, 10:08 pmbrandon staley is a damn genius . Not that the Chargers were at all impressive on "D" vs. the Browns, who lost because they stupidly decided not to cover the Chargers' WRs at numerous points during their matchup... :( :P :?

Re: Week 5: Other Games
Let's not forget McVay's very first outing as HC at the Rams..
11-5 - 1st Ranked Offence in the NFL, 12th in Defence.
We were bowling teams over offensively during the regular season with only one game where we didn't achieve double digits on the scoreboard. Then we entered the playoffs and the rest is in the books.
I feel there will be similarities between McVay's & Staley's first forays into Head Coaching.
However, will be interesting to see if Staley can go a few games better than McVay in the Playoffs.

How much time and money is still on Goff's current contract.?
He would be one of if not the most expensive backup QB's to play the game if benched this season and watching from the sidelines next.

How ironic. The rams beat the Colts, and the media says, who cares it just the Colts.
The Ravens struggle early and have to come back to beat the Colts, the media for days says how tough and good Jackson and the Ravens are.
