Bottom post of the previous page:

Smokescreens? Dude had trouble completing passes one-on-one at the combine, idk. Hell with all the talent at Alabama, he couldn't get them into a 12 team playoffs. First round sounds too high for me.

Don't like the word fixable for 1st round QB's

Jalen doesn't have much between the ears????

I wasn’t actually commenting directly on Milroe. More in general how QB’s have to be smart.

me too. I would not be too upset if they traded back and got an additional 2nd rounder
Agreed, I would be happy with a high second-round pick (Trey Amos?) and a high third-round one (Chris Paul Jr.?) in return for our team's #26 overall selection... 8-) :!:

Let's not forget that the sports media draft 'experts' are quite well paid to be excited about numerous prospects, that's their lucrative job.

So is it any surprise that they're hyping up various QBs before the NFL draft takes place?

When a previously hyped-up player is out of the league three years later, do any of the 'talking heads' bring him up and confess, "Boy, was I ever totally wrong about this guy!"...?? :? :( :?:

Well, apparently Milroe IS smart. That doesn't mean we know how he'll turn out as a Quarterback though. I think Josh Rosen was smart too as I recall 🤔 🤔🤔
I also think Rosen's mom was banging one of his teammates so he really didn't have a chance :D

Yes. That's what I'm saying.
wow
Yeah, it's still early in their careers but my money is on Daniels. He looks like a homerun pick for the Skins.

Totally possible Daniels ends up better than Maye. As of now Jayden wins year 1 and holds a substantial lead. I'm betting on Maye for the long haul on this one.
And that's fine. It's too early to tell and for all we know JJ McCarthy will turn out to be the best.

For me, Daniels showed rare poise and athleticism for a rookie going deep into the playoffs. He just needs to avoid taking big hits so he can stay healthy. Bo Nix did better than I thought and the jury is still out on Williams and Penix. It will be interesting to watch McCarthy who is on the right team with the right coach.

Saw this on si:

“ I don’t think the class is very good,” said one AFC assistant coach. “I think it’s a lot like the 2022 class, with maybe the exception of Cam Ward. But he’s gonna go first overall. And if you put him in last year’s class, he’s sixth or seventh [overall] for me.”

“Cam Ward’s comp was a “sawed-off Ben Roethlisberger.” Outside of Ward, the nine QB-adjacent offensive coaches were not too high on Sanders, Dart and Milroe. All three are viewed as project quarterbacks.”

“Jaxson Dart’s comp was Baker Mayfield, Jalen Milroe’s comp was Taysom Hill, and Shedeur Sanders was compared to Teddy Bridgewater.”

It reflects what has been said for a while now. It is not a good QB draft class.

Once a couple of QBs are taken in the first round though, it's quite likely that other teams needing one will feel pressured to acquire a rookie QB of their own while one of the top four prospects is still available.

Haven't all four of those guys been invited by the NFL to relax in the 'green room' during the draft's first round...?? 8-) :) :?:

Doesn’t mean they are a part of a draft class that should be drafted in the first round……….
