Fun Season Rams Fans -unfortunately it ends next week

Near 60 years old, been a Rams Fan since my father would take me to the wooden seats in the LA Coliseum in the early to mid-70's, all the way up to Northern California when a few East Bay Ram Fans would gather at Legends Sports Bar on Port Chicago Highway back in the late 90's.

I have seen a lot in my time and what I see now concerns me....we peaked too early and are an above average team now.

Here is why:
#1 -Horrible cornerback and safety play.
#2 -Ineffective linebackers and defensive scheme for them designed by Shula. I now agree with many Ram posters who say a ILB is a draft need.
#3 -Wide Receivers, other than Puka, who can reliably catch a pass. We have one good WR now.
#4 -An incredible offense line who are out of sync because the starters are not lined up together each week. We need Dodson back.

Extra Credit to the following Rams:
#1 - Our Defensive Line, extra credit to Puna Ford, Young, and yes -B. Fisk.
#2 - The rise of Colby Parkinson.
#3 -The "Thicker Kicker".
#4 -MVP QB Matt Stafford who is average lately because of the issues we face above #3 and #4.....and maybe a Todd Gurly type injury we are unaware of.

We are running on duck tape and wire and this all ends next week.

I'll take the Rams against anyone. Nobody is THAT impressive. Denver's Defense would be our toughest challenge.

Disagree with number 3 and 4. DA is still a VERY good and solid WR2 .Most teams would love to have him as their WR2 . The others wrs we have are adequate for WR3 , WR4 . I mean talent-wise.

Number 1 and 2 are real , number 3 is not . number 4 is not an issue as long Mclendon / AJ are healthy , if they go down , season is over. AND Dotson will probably be back next week . If not , Dedich is AN OK backup but he will never be as good as dotson who is probably a top 3 guard in this league.

THAT said , number 1 and 2 can END the rams season next week for sure , and it probably will but it is not like it is a LOCK . Whoever we face next week I give us a 40 % chances of winning . It is something , but we are NOT the favorites anymore , imo.

Rams are talented enough to beat any team in the playoffs. Yes they could lose next week but until that happens, Go Rams

To be continually the odds on favorite to get to the SB we must:

Not have stupid ST breakdown like yesterday.
Get Dotson back.
Limit the stupid penalties.
Shula to create better defensive schemes
Be more aggressive on Defense
McVay to stop making stupid 4th and 3 type calls when we had an easy FG. 3 pass plays out of secon half seemed very panic like.

I agree with all of this this Malibu + the Rams must play four quarters of good defense and run the ball consistently with Dodson back. I believe this team is capable of winning it all, my concern is the defense almost gives up at certain points of the game........often for whole quarters or at the end of the game.
