NFL Officials Are The Worst In Memory

Post by GlendoraRam »

How would you like to have a job were you constantly f-up and there is no accountability whatsoever?
This has become a trend with the Rams. It’s pretty clear the league is sending a message to the Rams for Puka telling the truth.

It's terrible league wide....

I feel its worse for the small market teams like Jax, Cleveland, Tennessee, Detroit, ect.

The Rams have had it worse than normal this year. But it's definitely a league issue they have no want or willingness to correct. It really does take the enjoyment out of it.

It is interesting that PI is not reviewable. The problem IMO is that it is called so inconsistently either over called or undercalled.

The league has officials in their offices watching every game in real time. They could easily review plays like this - perhaps even faster than the officials on the field, and it would remove egos from the situation. They will never do this; controversy is good for the revenue.

This game should have never come down to depending on a last second penalty. This was just a lackluster performance to a below average team. SMH

Both the Seattle and ATL games the officiating was terrible. The PI not called the helmet being dislodged CLEARLY several refs had to be around the play still not called and it was in the middle of the play not at the very end. The holding call by Humphries negating a TD was complete bullshit the guy fell to thee ground clear as day I could go on and on in the Seattle game like the TD called back due to offensive lineman down field ridiculous and again ticky tack, the 2 Pt conversion the whistle blew before he picked up the ball and the the pass being backyards to me is inconclusive and too close to call and there were others brutal officiating this season. I am not one to complain about officiating especially their vantage point isn't perfect probably like the non PI call but some of these were blatant interjection into the game when they should have stayed silent or called a penalty like when Avilas helmet came off.

Same problem that MLB is having with home plate umpires, literally changing games with horrible ball and strike calls. MLB is finally doing something about it by reviewing balls and strikes via computer. They tried it out in Spring Training and it worked great and was very fast. The NFL needs to get going on this because fans are turning the game off and crying corruption.
