Rams TE. Thoughts?
Now that we have implemented 12 and 13 personal and need multiple TE’s… what’s your guys thoughts on our current TE group?
For me, I’m somewhat disappointed w Higs. He has some great plays him in, then he does bone headed things others.
Also seems to get injured a lot.
Ferg is going to be a solid player for us. Guy is green but he’s got the mind set to be great and it shows.
Parkinson is good, not many issue w him. Above average TE.
Allen is your average TE…
Thoughts? What would you like to see?

Re: Rams TE. Thoughts?
Higs missed some crucial blocks, he needs to improve.
We need to draft a LT early in the 1st round.

I have to disagree that Parkinson is good, he had multiple false starts Sunday and is a terrible blocker and he makes big money. I would send him packing asap. He would be ok for 1.5 a year but he makes 8 or 9 Million I think. I think he is by far the week link at tight end.DelMar wrote: ↑November 18th, 2025, 6:51 am Now that we have implemented 12 and 13 personal and need multiple TE’s… what’s your guys thoughts on our current TE group?

Re: Rams TE. Thoughts?
Higs and Parkinson are nothing special for he money they earn.. we should be able to pick up a good TE in the first 3 rounds of the draft and another blocking TE in FA.
I would go OL and CB in the 1st round if forced to use them.

Re: Rams TE. Thoughts?
But thats just it, he has some really solid games, then takes a dump on the field like he did this past Sunday... def not an every week solid TE we can count on... but then, some games he does terrific.Simdaddy wrote: ↑November 18th, 2025, 8:09 amI have to disagree that Parkinson is good, he had multiple false starts Sunday and is a terrible blocker and he makes big money. Remember when we used to say this about RB's? Yet we would draft one or two in every draft during the McVay regime... I have to disagree OC, because we all know how Sean is when his eye on a certain position... and this year, it's the TE group... now will this stand? Time to will tell

Maybe they’ll elevate Redman. He looked great in preseason. Whittington could cover some 13 duties, too, probably.

Ok maybe somebody late in the draft but this team can not continue to draft players/positions that are not a priority...DelMar wrote: ↑November 18th, 2025, 9:10 amRemember when we used to say this about RB's? Tell that to Sean... as we sure seem to do that.. BUT, it's hard to argue w the Rams success.

Re: Rams TE. Thoughts?
I agree, the only way the rams address te again is if Park is let go (bc of his contract) and Higbee moves on. Both are possible.

Re: Rams TE. Thoughts?
Yes exactly.. Colby still has another year but Higbee is gone next year.. If he wants to put 4 TEs on the field.. he better have 4 decent ones.
I wouldn't be surprised if we see a TE in the first 4 rounds.
The other side of this is, if you look ahead, there is a load of Defensive talent that needs to be signed so they will need to clear out people like Higbee, Hav, Tutu, Colby and possibly Adams and bring in draft picks.

Re: Rams TE. Thoughts?
Nothing this year. The 4 have been fine. One game where as a group they didn’t block well is not going to get me to forget how well they have played the last month. The key to why we have played so well the last month. We have all been touting how well they have played. Parkinson’s TD was huge on Sunday and that was mostly him. And last Sunday the entire team didn’t block well……………..
Moving forward? I’ve said previously we should be in good shape with Allen n Ferguson. Parkinson is around a $7m cap savings if not here next year. He IMO is gone unless he comes back at a big discount. Higbee is cheap next year. $2.1m. It’s on the books if he stays or is cut……..
TE IMO will be fine with Allen n Ferguson. Ferguson IMO will be the TE we all wanted in the next year or two………..
