Williams does fumble too much but its overblown.

Hell, Faulk fumbled 8 times in one season once.

Henry has 23 career fumbles.

Most RBs fumble 2/3 times a year.

That's football.
All more explosive players than KW

KW lacks explosiveness to go with his poor handle
Didn't Marshall also score 15 TD's combined that year too tho?

But 3 times as many fumbles despite not having 3 times the amount of carries
I wasn't arguing with you, only being fair. Maybe we get 1 or 2 more fumbles from Gibbs in the 1 less year. He's averaging 1 a year!
We got it , the number of carries needs to be taken into consideration of course ...but like I said ...with 686 carries Gibbs would still have 3 fumbles or 4 at the most against KW's 10 . Like Cornell said , we could live with the fumbles if he was such a playmaker like Gybbs which he is not , obviously .

Williams forte isn't explosiveness

Its being a complete back who can recieve, block and gain tough yards. If Williams was a top 10 pick. You'd have a argument.

Your argument is dumb based off what Williams is supposed to be.
You are the one comparing him to Faulk and Henry.

If you are going to compare you need to compare the entire package.

KW is your guy, that's fine.

He is pretty good for a 4th round pick . I will agree here . Maybe it is time for the rams to have REAL talent at the rb position and draft one in the first round.

No I'm comparing fumble rates.

Quit the strawman. I can do straw man too. Are you saying McVay doesn't know RBs since we résigner him?

And yes, I am a Kyren fan. Dude has been a solid C+/B- back for us.

Everything isn't black and white. You can give props to Williams and still acknowledge his faults and limitations.
KW does deserve props. He was a good find in the 5th round. With that said he still fumbles too much and lack explosiveness. Do you disagree with that statement?

And Willams had 16 last year!
Actually I looked it up

Faulk had Over 1000 yards rushing and receiving yards the year he fumbled 8 times and scored 18 Rushing TDS and 8 Receiving TDS.
And then there's this... No KW near any of it.

Marshall Faulk! NFL records

Most receiving yards by a running back in a season: 1,048
Most consecutive games with a reception by a running back (min. 5 carries per game): 158[36]
Most games with 200 yards from scrimmage: 14
Most games with 250 yards from scrimmage: 5

Yes! He's been a productive RB who is probably a top 10/12 ish RB. From a production standpoint he has been a top 8 RB in rush yards the last 3 seasons.

The stats don't lie.

Obviously, he's not as explosive as a 1st round RB. But like I said, his game isn't based off explosiveness. And yes he fumbles too much.

Sounds like your issue is with McVay. Not me,I'm just stating facts. I'm not the one who signed him and made him starter lol.
Ok so we agree. He isnt explosive and he fumbles too much but he is a productive back and good find in the 5th round

Nobody is comparing the two.

Faulk is a HOF

Williams is a better than average RB. Top 10 ish guy but not great at anything.
You did exactly that, you compared fumbles. And Sorry, KW is not a top 10 Back... He's sufficient for what Sean likes to do!

That was some production vs the 9ers!

Lost fumble on the 9er 1 and 30 yard lines and failed to convert 4th and inches inside their 20.

The fuck are you talking about.....?

This where Williams was ranked the last 3 season in rush yards.

2023: 3rd in the NFL
2024: 7th in the NFL
2025: 9th in NFL this year

Again, from a production standpoint he's been pretty good. I called him a C+/B- RB. I think thats more than fair. There are probably 10 to 12 backs better than him.

You don't think he's deserving of such? Fine, you dont have to agree. But atleast I'm backing up my point with data as to why I think he's a top 10/12 ish guy. In my opinion.
So you knew What the fuck I was talking about because you went ahead and tried to substantiate your claim.... RB isn't just Rushing Yards!
There's a reason we see many posters often, bitching because the Rams passed on 3rd/4th and short instead of running it!

IMO, good the Lions won tonight. Puts them both at 5-2, instead of Bucs being 6-1.

That's fine, we dont have to agree. All good, no reason to take it personally.

Still think he's a top 12 RB.
Stop projecting your BS on to me. I'm not taking anything personally, we're all having a football conversation and you can't handle a differing opinion. So you resort to shit like "no reason to take it personally" and "WTF are you talking about". Sounds like a personal problem to me bro!
None of that shit is necessary and that's what I'm responding to, just for you!

Their still missing Joe Mixon and their O has struggled all year w/o him. They had only given up 61 points in 5 games going into tonight.

Yeah they are. I think they're our biggest challenger for the Division title.
Shula had an answer for Darnald in the playoffs last year so I hope that continues against his new team!

Take away Darnold’s first read, he freezes. But the Seahawks defense is legit.
The Texans offensively are a dumpster fire.

I'll bet Kupp wishes he'd signed elsewhere .. 14 targets for Smith .. 1 for Kupp. 32 yard reception in the first quarter, then never looked at again. I imagine Seattle is also wondering why they are paying him at this point
GR .. shaken not stirred

The problem for Rams and I will say it again is the entire NFC West. For the Rams to win the West they will have to earn it. Play like the Jags game and end the inconsistent play. As a Rams fan get ready for a wild ride. This will not be for the faint of heart. By the end of the season many Forum Members are at risk for mental health issues.

Wait what are you talking about? I just looked at schedule for the rest of season. The Rams have only one sure win against the Saints. Every other future game is against good or high scoring teams. Who cares about the West the entire season is going to be tough.
