When it works it's a great play, when it doesnt Mcvay sucks
It all comes down to execution and not the play call

Stafford got the pass off but didn't hit the target. What does McVay have to do with this?

Nothing but the play call was bashed bc some said Mcvay should have drew up a short pass or ran the ball. Instead of a low percentage play down the field.

I think he was bashed because of the circumstances. When you're up 21-0 you can take those high risk shots. When you're in a tight game, I think you need to go high %

But some on X said this was the playcall he should have ran vs the niners on 4th and 1 instead of giving it to KW to run.Ramsfan08ny wrote: ↑October 20th, 2025, 3:22 pmI think he was bashed because of the circumstances. Let's look at the redzone, over the weeks so many complaints about Mcvay not running it enough in the redzone. Mcvay called 4 passes for tds in the redzone against the jags. Since it worked no complaints. If it didnt there would have been threads saying McMartz and how he doesnt run the ball in the redzone.
Im sure eerybody will have a different opinion on it, but I still feel that when the play works no complaints, people love it, when it doesnt, fans bash and say Mcvay should have did something else. JMHO

The 1st vid it looks like the crossing pattern was pretty open too.
2nd vid, it looks like the Eagles DB tugs on Adams jersey just enough. Should have been a hold AFAIC!

Totally agree. The goal is to win the game when its tight go with higher percentage play. McVay has a ton of them.Ramsfan08ny wrote: ↑October 20th, 2025, 3:22 pmI think he was bashed because of the circumstances. When you're up 21-0 you can take those high risk shots.
