I just cannot believe this. How many times the day after have we all sat here and discussed Williams fumbles, and how they specifically lost the game?

To me, these fumble issues erases much of his talent. I rather have someone w less talent, but at least wont fumble when the games are on the line.
I've been one of his biggest supporters, but all the damn costly fumbles are killing us. We had that damn game won Del. Won! And we just pissed it away.

It's like he wanted to catch himself with his left arm before he hit the ground or something..and it freaking cost us. Maybe stop the BS Dion strutting into the end zone BS and get back in the weight room and also start running some cover-up cradles through a gauntlet of coaches trying to knock or punching the ball out..it's ridiculously the amount of fumbles this man has already had in his relatively short career! And we freaking extended him! I don't drink but I'm getting the blender out for some margaritas!
Truth is because he is a very stupid guy period. The goal more than anything else was hold onto the ball bc the Niners had only 2 options under these conditions punch the ball out or let us score so they will have 1 minute to score themselves. Obviously the punch out is first on the list so the #1 priority for Kyren was to protect the ball. Especially since he is known as a fumbler. Instead he takes the second arm off the ball in a crowded pile and the result is a punchout and a LA loss. Absolutely stupid individual and none off you can say different. He has been coached over and over to focus on holding onto the ball and he still loses the ball. You can try to say punch outs happen sure but he is a cronic fumbler. It was first and goal on the 3 and we didnt need to score imnediately either so play it extra safe and hold onto the ball.

Kyren is a very average or below average NFL back. No real burst, not very good at visual awareness, doesn’t have the power to move the pile, not very elusive. He only appeared to be good because of the schemes drawn up for him and the strength of the Rams passing game.
Although I am certain it has been drilled into his head, he is horrible and ball security.I seriously doubt he would be starting for most NFL teams.
McVay appears to love the guy just like he thought Reeder was good.
Let’s not forget a huge reason we lost to the Eagles in the playoffs was his fumble.
I am done with him. Cant be trusted and never should have been extended as I wrote on The Rams News site a few months back.

Exactly. McVay has this problem: sometimes he lets the guys he likes play, regardless of whether they’re actually good or not. He can’t separate personal feelings from performance. Being a nice person and an awesome human being doesn’t automatically mean you’re good at your job or that you deserve a spot over someone who might be a jerk — but better at what they do.

I think he'd be a good backup. Corum runs a lot harder and breaks more tackles. But one thing i've noticed is that we often put Corum in on obvious running situations so he really doesn't get a chance to really show how good he can be. And after this bye week, I think it's time to sprinkle in a little Hunter and see what he can do with that speed. This time next season KW really could be 3rd string.
