Man of the People
I know this Rams forum, but when I see things like this, I have to share some and give some mad respect. If we didnt have Stafford, Josh Allen is the guy I have ALWAYS wanted to be a Ram. Not only a future HOF'r, but also the man of the people. (and just think about how many rings he would have if he was a Ram w McVay at the helm).
I have gone to many NFL camps, and most of the time, players either pass by the fans and chat amongst themselves or are stuck in iPod land, then some will stop and sign a few autographs here and there... Then there Josh here. He not only legit noticed the girl crying w special needs, but also shows mass respect by taking his hate off when meeting our GREAT military men and women.
.
Seriously, man of the people here folks... (the last tweet is funny, wait till the end and he signs the babies jersey and the dad tries to hand the baby to Josh, and he's like 'Nope, not doing that, bye"... I bet he thinks, 'do people think I am the pope or something'. FYI, famous people usually do not like to hold your babies and take photos... big risk and babies throw up, messy things they are.
)
To top it off, he just married this actress... not a bad life

Re: Man of the People
You didnt go to Reedley did you, BK? I remember when I had my one year at city college we played them. Was a great game other than we lost. It was the playoffs and it was MANY, MANY moons ago (like when ONE BAR facemark were still around for kickers).
I hadn't realized Josh started out there, thought he went straight to Wyoming. Thats great! Amazing how many HOF and Great QB's come out of Northern Ca, let alone CA as a whole. We are loaded w QB's in this state. QB breeding ground.
I mean, just look at this list...

Re: Man of the People
Good stuff in this thread...what stood out to me was it appeared that Josh truly enjoyed his time signing and talking with the fans....seems that sometimes the NFL greats think it is kind of an obligation and they go through the motions but it come off kinda crappy....that's exactly the opposite of what I watched in those short videos
Thanks for posting that...I enjoyed the watch

I’m not a Reedley alum, but I like seeing what happens to folks after going through the California Community College system. Josh Allen’s goodness, I think, comes out of his roots.

I was VERY close to playing for Pat Hill…But my back had other ideas, letter of intent was pulled, so ended up a loser playing on a Rams forum all day now.EastBayRamsFan wrote: ↑August 5th, 2025, 4:44 pm Grew up a farmer east of Fresno and lobbied hard to be a Fresno State Bulldog like many Valley kids. Re: Man of the People
I'm hardly a fan of the Buffalo Bills, however it's great to see a multimillionaire who actually *does* care about common working Americans, meaning that he practices that belief as opposed to merely claiming it.
I grew up in that area (western NY state) and the middle-class people there overall are generous and good-hearted, it's a relief to interact with them when I'm up there... 8-)
RAM SEASON!!

Re: Man of the People
the road to the NFL for Josh is an amazing story. To be arguably the top 2 QB in the league and not be highly recruited coming out of HS is pretty amazing
