Stafford - Concern Level Is Rising

Post by GlendoraRam »

Sean McVay, with his typical coach-speak, has repeatedly downplayed long-term concerns, stating, “He’s doing really well, we have a really good plan in place,” and noting that the ultimate goal is Stafford’s readiness for the season opener against the Houston Texans. However, the shift from a day-to-day evaluation to a week-to-week timeline has raised some red flags among observers, given Stafford’s history with back problems. Day to day, then week to week – yes, the level of concern is rising.

Not with me...Stafford will play week one come hell or high water....they would probably have to sedate him, strap him to gurney, and put him on a plane to Greece for him to miss week 1

So then what would his timing with his receivers, especially the new ones from his perspective, be like in that game...?? :? :?:

“ Schefter said on NFL Live to not worry about Matthew Stafford injury”

I don't ever remember Sean telling us something and the opposite happening. I believe if there was serious concern about Staff he'd let us know.
I just don't see a benefit from lying about it...

Ummmm, I don't believe that anyone on the Rams is 'afraid of a little work,' however works that are still 'in progress' as the season is getting underway, those tend to result in 3-6 or 1-4 starts... :? ;)

I think you are talking about a different Rams team....The only player it would be nice to see Stafford work a little more with is Davante...other than that, I don't have concerns. I believe they are being overly cautious at this point and No, I don't think it's a mistake.

The quote above is from Mike Florio. I hope it’s accurate, but he’s a guy that I don’t trust.
