Bulldawg has been very upfront that he is a Stafford fan first and foremost and has supported this team since #9 arrived even against Detroit. Consistent with his stance……………………..

Did JG play well in some of those regular season games that you mentioned? Yes. But if you want to go “facts” fact is the niners were done with his inability to play well when it mattered. Beyond done. Could not wait to get rid of him. Again where are you n where am I? You sound like a niner fan being impressed with 8 regular season wins. Rams were never concerned that he was their QB against them. And they are not with Purdy either. Fact!……………
It's none of that and you keep changing the subject. I simply responded to a post that didn't make sense.
The one who can’t see it made sense is well………

Where the heck did this come from? This has NOTHING to do with Stafford. Come on Mike, you know me better than that...or should. I remember multiple posts from various people talking bad about Jimmy G...and complaining that we actually lost to him. Yes, he has beaten the Rams a lot...doesn't mean I want to see him as a starter. Ask the Raiders how they feel about him. And yes, he is one of the best backups in the league...BACKUP!

I think you should also correct your statement...Stafford was the reason I started rooting for this team, not the only reason I root for this team. I have learned to absolutely love McVay, Kupp, Verse, (and now Devonte Adams), etc. Basically how the entire organization is run. That is a pretty low comment and you can kiss my arse...in a respectful way. 8-)
BD, you SAID, Rams fans were happy to see Garoppolo when we played him. I simply pointed out how incorrect this statement was. 8-1 against Rams including Playoffs. You simply said something that was INCORRECT and I called you on it. End of story.
So you state it was incorrect so it is and you get to end story……..

No, actually you called me out on being a Stafford fan...and the only reason I cheer for this team. That is INCORRECT.

And yes, I remember many posts trashing Jimmy G and people not being afraid of him. (Too bad we can't go back that far and bring in some of the old posts.) We were scared of their D, coaching, etc...but I never remember anyone saying they were scared of Jimmy G...which translates we were happy Jimmy G was their QB cause that gave us a chance.
Yep correct on many in here trashing him including I guarantee Brook. Guarantee………..

I not one time feared JG playing against us but I guess Brook did. My bet is AD didn’t………..

Welp, it’s ok even if you are talking about me. I know I can be one at times.

Gentlemen and Ladies,

It's time to focus on the Texans. Maybe a new thread that examines their strengths and weaknesses and the best way to exploit that reality?

We need to keep Stroud contained. Keep him from using his feet as a playmaker. Bring the pressure and we have a chance to win this game.

Im all for unity and cohesion. Just CANNOT put up with fanboy-type comments like we were happy to see someone we went 1-8 against, and that SAME someone happens to be on our squad in a very important position. Other than that, I'm Kum-bay-ya....!
I am a fanboy because I don't care for Jimmy G? You sound crazy. What does that make every Raiders fan that didn't like him?

Brook, I am done replying to your insane logic and moody ass. Keep alienating people and making it personal because they don't agree with you. Going forward...I won't acknowledge or respond to a post by you. You have definitely changed for the worst over the last few years. We can agree to completely ignore each other going forward. I am done with you and your "greater than thou" attitude. I am not worthy to be in your presence and cheer for the Rams since I came here as a Stafford fan. Bite me.

All posters are not awesome posters. Some posters “burned the bridge” a long time ago. Some posters viewed by some as solid posters well the view isn’t shared by all. And some viewed as a “problem in here” by the resident usually same core are not viewed in the same way by all…………….

Re: Rams Camp Updates…

I’m guessing I liked Jimmy G more than most on this forum prior to him becoming a Ram. I realized at the time that evaluations of him as a niner (on a Rams site) would come with an extra dose of hate, but yeah I’ve always thought he was pretty good…and the Raiders are their own disaster. Players can bounce back from having played on bad organizations as well (i.e. Baker Mayfield).

I think he could start on our team and be successful with McVay. He’s not M. Stafford tho, so I prefer that obviously.

But the losses to the niners with Jimmy G at the helm were just that. I mean, the team was fucking scary, and Garoppolo was just a part of that. I didn’t take him lightly, but he wasn’t ever the scary QB that some are. You know, the QB’s that are the biggest part of that team. The niners D was foremost the problem on the field to me – you just could NOT run on them. The entire team was physical. Garoppolo was just good enough to make it work, and they easily could have been a Super Bowl winner with him. But losing to the Rams in the NFC Champ game was his ticket out of town. Has SF been better since then? Overall…about the same until injuries knocked them into the basement last year.

Truly, I never feared Garoppolo, and never looked forward to playing him as the opposing QB as well. He was neither elite nor a problem for his team @ QB imo.

I see Jimmy G as a solid game manager. He runs the offense very well, but doesn’t have great arm skill. He is exactly where he should be. He is a solid veteran backup. That’s it.

Yes that's what he is, NOW.

In his prime he was a guy we couldn't beat for the most part.
With SF, he had a very good supporting cast too.
