The Upside of Blowing the Lead
The rams play better when they're both hungry and humble. Swagger is good once the first whistle blows, but during the practice week I like them to be focused on improving themselves. You think they'll practice ball security during the week before the game. Let 9ers have the swag, I'll take the victory.
McVay still struggles to use two backs in the running game. Is Akers better than a non-fumbling plow horse like Michel?

Re: The Upside of Blowing the Lead
The only ‘upside’ to blowing the lead was that Stafford and Kupp pulled the entire team’s collective nuts out of the grinder by making it moot and moving us 64 yds in two plays for the winning FG.
As to the curious one-back use Sunday, after a week of Ram fans (including myself) touting the one-two punch of Michel/Akers only to have McVay give it 24 times to Cam and ONCE to Sony (at 7 min of the 4th quarter), I’d like to hear the explanation on his thinking.
The only thing that makes any sense is Michel being hurt but I’m not seeing anything about that.
Its crazy that he put virtually the entire RB load on Cam.

Re: The Upside of Blowing the Lead
Rams have no business having any swagger against the 9ers...I hope McVay gets asked the question about the lack of mix in the backfield. The only think I can figure is that Akers is a better pass catcher and thus a dual threat. Any word on if Henderson returns this week?
