Quick Question On D-Coord

Post by CierraRam »

Outside of the Rams winning it all (In which case they aren't likely to make staff changes unless someone gets hired away) Does McVay fire Morris and go after Fangio providing he hasnt been hired away yet? I say he does simply because he is a clear upgrade over what they have.

Don't see it happening.....The defense was actually playing pretty decent (although I have never been overly impressed) and McV and Raheem have history.

Fangio is a better D coordinator than Morris but he also plays alot of the same type concepts that Morris nwas deploying this year. I would like a more aggressive D-coordinator that dials up the blitz and will play man/press.

So...The answer to the question IMO is Morris isn't going anywhere and we are in for another year of bend but don't break unless playingbthe Niners

I want Brian Flores over Vic. I want a aggressive defense that schemes to destroy opposing offenses.

Vic has a that same bend but don't break style of D. I pass

I disagree strongly. Morris should be fired after all the defensive mistakes this year. 2020, we could tackle. Now we can't. That's on the coordinator. I don't want to see Morris back under any circumstance. This idea that he's been good is bullshit. We got a damn safety who acts like he can't play football anymore.
