Bottom post of the previous page:

The niners will just run the ball all day again. Smart coach. Solid team. Outstanding TE. They just have our number. Just hope we avoid them in 1st round. We need to just play up in the box and make them beat us deep. Worth a shot.

if Lance is the QB the rams will win this game going away. load up the line of scrimmage and stop the run. then hope Stafford doesn't have too many turnovers

Rams have clearly not been motivated to beat the Whiners. There is plenty of motivation this Sunday. Home game. Division title on the line. #2 seed on the line, which means at least one home playoff game. Possibly knock the Whiners out of the playoffs. If this motivation is not enough, what is?

No my friend you just struggle with the concept that at this level it is much more than what you view as being important……………
It’s amazing the blindness of some who for some reason have not noticed the difference in the Rams and Niners demeanor and energy level the past couple years.

Rams are due and peaking right time
Just keep playing at the same level and this is the cap to a great overall regular season, giving us positive vibes heading into the 2nd season.

Part of the others includes Deebo.....and he will beat them if they don't stop him...Deebo runs the ball and catches the ball, then is an absolute beast running it

Deebo > Kittle IMO

Play tougher than them in the trenches-they have beat us up running the ball and with the pass rush against us. On paper we should beat them but they just seem to get up to play us. Martz needs to get the Shanahan monkey off his back-F u C K monkey it's a damn gorilla........

The RAMS don't seem to take this rivalry as serious as the 49ers do and I don't know why that is. The 49ers look so much more interested in these games than the RAMS do and their intensity level is so much higher. We will probably lose this one especially if their back-up QB plays. Thanks.

I don't buy that...they have been motivated just fine....they just have been beat up beat physically in every match-up...in other words they smacked the good guys in the mouth and they went home to mommy....don't like it, but it is what it is.

The Rams have a better and more physical O-line....and now the OLBers are up to the challenge...the Rams are a different team then earlier in the year.

We need to have all 11 defenders within 6 yards of the LOS so we can shutdown the run and make SF try to beat us thru the air. We need to have Ramsey on Debo and put a DB on Kittle. Do that and they'll be lucky to score 17 points IMO...

On offense run the freaking ball 40% of the time. Keep their D honest. McVay needs to not panic and call a solid game...
Judge our new coach in his third year. After all our last coach was to game strategy what Yoko Ono was to the Beatles...

harkin there is no blindness…………..

But you continue to blame the 5 losses all on that instead of seeing the failure of this team to make plays and that team has. You continue to not see that they have plain and simple executed better and have had a better plan against us then we have had for them. They have exploited our weaknesses while we have played at a level in those 5 games where we have not. Their best players have bottom line out played ours…………..

But if you want to continue to think it’s effort and this team hasn’t given a damn the last 5 games then who am I to stop you…………

And yes I’m well prepared that if Rams win where your credit will go and if they lose where your blame will go……….

Blindness? One can in return state narrow minded………………..

I watched the entire game yesterday. Trey Lance was not that impressive. He was reluctant to throw (or at least Shanahan was reluctant.)
  • We must stop the run
  • Can't have this bend but don't break defense or they will bleed us to death and control the clock.
  • Make them beat us with the pass
