Anyone else pulling for the Cardinals today?
We need to delay a January trip to Green Bay as long as possible.

Rams have to beat Niners. If they can’t they don’t belong in the playoffs anyway. Niners could be eliminated completely with a loss. That’s a great way to end the regular season.SoCalRam78 wrote: ↑January 2nd, 2022, 2:42 pm That’s fine. But cards win, the rams could still finish as the 5 seed. Az has Seattle at Home and rams face a team that they haven’t beat in 3 seasons.
Dallas still has a tough game next week too.

Re: Anyone else pulling for the Cardinals today?
That was a huge Cowboys loss-we are now number 2 in the NFC seeding.
Exactly Ramnic, the last game vs the 49ers will meaningful for both teams. Would not want the rivalry game to be any other way. If we lose to Frisco for the 6th time in a row with their backup QB we don’t deserve to win the division anyway.

They would have wrapped the division up today correct? Cards still have the tiebreaker? Don't see why the hell anyone wouldn't want it done heading into next week rather than taking a chance on screwing up. They were fortunate at Baltimore today. Showed some guts, but fortunate regardless.EastBayRamsFan wrote: ↑January 2nd, 2022, 2:39 pm We need to delay a January trip to Green Bay as long as possible.

Re: Anyone else pulling for the Cardinals today?
That was my reasoning too, now our team could finish with either the #2 seed in the NFC, or only the #5 seed.SoCalRam78 wrote: ↑January 2nd, 2022, 2:42 pm
That’s fine. But cards win, the rams could still finish as the 5 seed. Az has Seattle at Home and rams face a team that they haven’t beat in 3 seasons.
Now the Rams have to defeat a team which they've recently simply 'choked' against in their regular-season finale, in order to win the NFC West title.
This looks like an extremely challenging situation for the Good Guys... :?

Actually we take care of business and Dallas beating Philly I think is best. Keeps Niners in that 6th spot which means no Niners first round……………

Yeah but I think I rather play the Saints over the eagles. I have to think about it some more, but the Saints qb situation imo is a huge issue for them.
The niners missing the playoffs 4 out of 5 shanny years makes me smile.

Re: Anyone else pulling for the Cardinals today?
I would have rather just gone ahead and clinched.
Could you imagine how bad we would have felt today with a Rams loss and the AZ win? I would preferred that feeling not to even be an option next weekend.
Now let’s just get a W and it is the best case scenario. We control our destiny.

I don’t think both Philly and NO will win next week……..
If I knew they are both winning then yes of course………….

Re: Anyone else pulling for the Cardinals today?
It will be interesting to see how they finalize the schedule next weekend. Two Saturday games on ABC/ESPN, and then the Sunday Night game on NBC. I believe the league has said all 3 of those games will have playoff implications.
Raiders-Chargers is likely a winner take all for final wild card spot in AFC, so I anticipate that will be the Sunday Night game.
What are the chances Rams-Niners gets moved to Saturday?
