Al-Shaair was all over the field making plays vs the Rams in the first game.

Re: Gropp: fractured AND UCL tear RIGHT thumb
Jimmy G hurt his thumb in the first half. Why did they have him throw a pass downfield on their first play of their first possession of the second half? That interception led to the game tying score and the Titans had not mustered anything at that point. Why not bring Trey Lance in then? Something just doesn’t add up.
On that point watching yesterday’s game Stafford came up adjusting one of his fingers on the botched snap QB sneak early on before the three picks. He was able to make some good throws down the stretch but I wonder if it was bothering him in the game.

I want to beat the 49ers at their best.
The first. The original. The only UtahRam.

Agreed....it's the NFL and the latter part of the season, everybody has aches and pains not to mention the season of Covid.
I get he's sayin by "beat them at their best" but at the end of the day I don't care I just the Rams to get a W and pin an L on the Niners.....Honestly, if we beat them at their worst every game for the next 20 years I would love it.
Their injuries are their problem IMO

LAnce has not looked good at all when subbing in this year....reports are he has been looking better the last 4 weeks and I can believe that.....but I don't think it will be good enoughBrooklynRam74 wrote: ↑December 28th, 2021, 8:58 amPlus, they've already proven they can beat us with their backup Quarterback (Mullins). And if we're unprepared, Lance could be a problem for us.sanbagger wrote: ↑December 28th, 2021, 8:48 am Agreed....it's the NFL and the latter part of the season, everybody has aches and pains not to mention the season of Covid.

Re: Gropp: fractured AND UCL tear RIGHT thumb
Understandable....Rams don't have an answer for the dink-and-dunk offense....and the niners have been the more physical team on both sides of the ballBrooklynRam74 wrote: ↑December 28th, 2021, 9:17 amTiny Tim can be the Quarterback of the Niners at this point and I'll believe the Rams can beat them when I SEE IT.

Re: Gropp: fractured AND UCL tear RIGHT thumb
I doubt he plays with that injury these last two games……..
We will see now if Lance can do anything. Fact is up here in their country rumor is there is a reason why he hasn’t seen the field in weeks. And it’s not because JG has been that great. Good yes but……. Talk here is Lance has quite a ways to go before they are comfortable in playing him again………
Well they don’t have that luxury anymore. They are screwed if he can’t give them something…………
Don’t be surprised if Houston gives them a game……….

More of an indication I think on what they think of Lance right now…….

There are a lot of scenarios where the 49ers miss the playoffs with a 9-8 record. They may have to win out.
It would be nice to finally get a win against Garoppolo.

Re: Gropp: fractured AND UCL tear RIGHT thumb
How sweet would that be if the Texans knocked them off and gave us the opportunity to eliminate them on week 18....
I severely doubt it but.. if Lance starts.... 9ers think he's ready.... perhaps we'll see..
I will say this, the Houston Offense and Davis Mills have improved somewhat and have been having some success... 30 or more points their last 2, albeit vs the Chargers and Jags, not exactly great D's... 9ers D better be ready.. they might have to win this game for them..

Trading that sort of capital for such a project at the most important position in sports was lunacy.

He'll look like Randal Cunningham against the Rams. Two things for certain in the NFL.sanbagger wrote: ↑December 28th, 2021, 9:03 amLAnce has not looked good at all when subbing in this year....reports are he has been looking better the last 4 weeks and I can believe that.....but I don't think it will be good enoughBrooklynRam74 wrote: ↑December 28th, 2021, 8:58 am Plus, they've already proven they can beat us with their backup Quarterback (Mullins). 1 - anyone can win on any given Sunday.
2 - ignore rule 1 when the Rams play the 9ers.
