We have Wolfie in the pen who knows the players, system, and playoff intensity. Stafford should be on a short leash.

Regarding Goff -- I don't recall AD every calling for that but if he did shame on him. Maybe, if he would have played better against Green Bay.......

McVay? I remember him playing it coy. Clearly, he wanted Goff to be hurt so he could start Wolford without having to make a decision. Then Goff came in off the bench, outplayed Wolfie and won McVay a playoff game against their bitter rival. .... That whole scenario must have really must have pissed McVay off.
What I recall is that once John Wolford was announced as the starting QB in the 2020 season finale vs. the Cardinals, due to Jared Goff's broken thumb, numerous Rams players--including Aaron Donald--stated that they had confidence in Wolford's ability to lead the team's offense. I don't recollect that any of them expressed a preference for the guy starting at QB over Goff at full health, however.

The injury situation effectively made Sean McVay's decisions on the Good Guys' starting QB for him, in the season finale and the Rams' two playoff matchups vs. the Seahawks and Packers. Goff was in no shape to pass competently in the Cardinals game, then Wolford was sidelined by a chest injury for most of the 'wild card' contest and for the divisional-round matchup that following week.

Donald had a torn pectoral muscle while playing in our team's postseason loss to the Packers, due to that injury his performance was pedestrian, still I'm pretty certain that he was doing his best possible for the team... :) 8-)

ram pathos...
