Roster for Sunday against SEA?
First of all - here's hoping that none of the players is experiencing symptoms and that their health is the primary concern....whether they play or not, I hope all of those tests were false positives....
I don't fully understand the NFL COVID policy (I live in Canada and the rules here seem to change every week so I stopped paying attention long ago)...but looking at the Rams roster on the Team site there are currently 14 players listed under Reserve/COVID19 - and most of those names are key players in key positions...so does that mean ALL of them are out for this Sunday against Seattle?
Based on the rules, is there a chance that any or all of them could clear testing and be available for Sunday?
If not, I guess it's next man up! I think this team showed a lot of heart on Sunday where many - including me - were questioning that element of the team...here's hoping they can claw out another win while their players recover....

Yes, some of them can and may be available. For any players on the COVID list to play they will need to have 2 Negative COVID tests within 24 hours to be available.

It also depends on vaccine status and if they have symptoms. I think McVay said that they are all vaccinated and symptom free. So, if they test negative twice in 24 hrs they definitely can play. Still we are going to be down a significant number.

Re: Roster for Sunday against SEA?
I think you said it best the rules change every week. IMO the experts are grasping at straws with how to deal with this. I do believe in situations like flying on a plane the mandatory mask mandate DOES work. My wife is a flight attendant and she hasn't been sick once and I do believe this is the reason why. Just my opinion, and of course I am not a Dr.cdaly26 wrote: ↑December 16th, 2021, 8:23 am First of all - here's hoping that none of the players is experiencing symptoms and that their health is the primary concern....whether they play or not, I hope all of those tests were false positives....

Re: Roster for Sunday against SEA?
Once you test positive :
If you are vaxxed up, you have a chance to play the same week if you can turn in 2 negative tests 24 hours apart. TJ Watt did this.
If you are an unvaxxed dumbass, you are out 10 days. No exceptions. In some cases, it can cost you 2 games. Amari Cooper did this to the Cowboys and they lost both games without him.
To be unvaxxed as a pro player at this point is to tell the other 52 players in that locker room to go fuck themselves. I would not want such a person on my team. They are not about winning.

Whilst I advocate getting vaccines for those that can I wouldn't refer to those that don't as dumbasses or use other derogatory terms. Some people have medical reasons for not getting vaccinated. Personal responsibility is different for different people. I might prefer a dedicated unvaccinated team-mate, (particularly if they wear a mask), than a vaccinated team-mate that's going through the motions. It depends on the team-mate I guess. I would certainly hope all NFL staff are sticking to whatever safety protocols have been put in place, even if the protocols don't make obvious sense or the staff don't agree with them.
I hope everyone stays safe and healthy.

I personally came damn close to losing multiple dear friends from this virus, weeks in ICU and one flat lined briefly, and not a one fits the description that you have portrayed here.
What is disgusting is your disrespect for those who have come down with this virus……………

Well said Nor Cal. I continue to be amazed at the insensitivity lying latent among the general population and reflected periodically on this forum.
Very sad.

This board would be poorer if it were to lose you, but your comment is also out of line.

Trust me, I get it. I don't give people 17 weeks of grace before they get on my ignore list. Free speech believers tolerate trolling. I don't.DMRamFan wrote: ↑December 16th, 2021, 6:06 pm Flv, let me get you up to speed here…you have to know the history w OC and Cleveland or Cleveland and about everyone else in here . OC, like many of us have had just about enough of Cleveland’s non stop negative conspiracy theories, scripts, everyone’s a fake account… blah blah blah… it doesn’t stop. He also seems to lose what section he’s (Cleve) in, off topic or Rams football.
They make me laugh, but others are tired of it. I mean I like Cleve, but it gets old the stuff he says. He’s seriously the parties pooper. Just fyi my man.

Re: Roster for Sunday against SEA?
I hate to say it but I expect a lot of teams to have a very large number of players on the covid19 list before Sunday. I expect many teams to be in the NFL's extreme circumstance/shut-down protocol by kickoff. I'm not sure how many more players the Rams could afford to lose. We could be in the same situation the Ravens were in last year, meaning our game is postponed. We would then have 5 or 6 days rest rather than a week before the remainder of the regular season.

Re: Roster for Sunday against SEA?
So, please explain why someone who is unvaxxed is a dumbass. Does anyone really know the long term affects of this vaccination? I’m unvaccinated and I don’t plan to ever get the vaccination. I’m on year two and still working on my natural immunity. I’m no dumbass. But a few years from now when folks start having negative reactions BECAUSE OF the vaccination, then we will see who is REALLY the dumbass.D-GenerationX wrote: ↑December 16th, 2021, 10:20 am Once you test positive :

There's talk that that's what's really wrong with Sergio Aguero and his sudden need to retire because of a heart condition.flv wrote: ↑December 17th, 2021, 2:01 pm"Does anyone really know the long term affects of this vaccination?"NN1Badboy wrote: ↑December 17th, 2021, 9:08 am So, please explain why someone who is unvaxxed is a dumbass. Don't know if it's true and have no medical training but he sure is mighty young at 33 to be having this suddenly happen. js.

Re: Roster for Sunday against SEA?
Sadly it's not shocking to see athletes diagnosed with medical issues. Ericksson collapsed at the Euros this summer. A couple of years back a Spurs player collapsed during a game. Former West Ham & Man City player Mark Vivian Foe died during a game. Sergio Agüero didn't look right last season, and Man City chose not to offer him an extension. Honestly i'm not surprised he didn't get through this season. I don't know the cause of his medical issues or his covid19 status, but from the outside they seem to pre-date the vaccination roll-out. Maybe it's covid19, maybe it's the vaccination, or maybe it's something else.Rampager66 wrote: ↑December 17th, 2021, 2:09 pm There's talk that that's what's really wrong with Sergio Aguero and his sudden need to retire because of a heart condition.
