Ok, besides the game of the week (Lions v Bears)… who else we looking forward to watching?

Some good games this week.

Cowboys will beat the Raiders
Saints will shock the Bills
Bengals will prevail
Colts maybe beat the Bucs
Patriots quiet the Titans

Vikings or 49ers?

Oh, then there is a small game in GB… where the Rams trounce the Fudge Packers.

not sure who is the worst franchise in the NFL the Giants or Raiders...Either way the Cowboys will demolish the Raiders. How good is Mac Jones??? What a year he is having. Think the 49ers come back to earth this week. Saints don't have a QB so hard to read them and Josh Allen is not playing well right now. Colts playing well but not going to beat TB.

hate BB but he is one hell of a coach. Remember they traded Gilmore too. Yeah Saints QB situation is a problem. But Bills are not playing well right now so who knows.

Some interesting developments today that could affect this weeks games...

Dalton is starting for the Bears
Giants just fired Jason Garrett

and Nagy is going to be out as Bears coach after this upcoming game.

If Goff and Lions beat the Bears tomorrow... do you think it will be the end of Nagy for the Bears? Here is something interesting, since the Bears have never fired a coach mid season. They just dont do it... but could they change that this season? Hmmm

report is the Bears have already told Nagy he is done after the Thanksgiving game. Cowherd said today the team is in disarray right now because management hasn't told them anything. would not be surprised if Det rolls

In his first drive, he threw a 39 yard bomb complete for a TD to Reynolds’s. His last TD was 17 yd pass to his TE. But other than that, all dink’n and dunk’n.

Lots of balls behind guys too.

It’s like he’s the 2018, ‘19 and ‘20 Goff all mixed into one today. Spurts of greatness, then spurts of bad passes.

I know. It’s ok though. Gonna be a couple years, but we’ll be back. We always do this.

You listen to Colin on this subject? He said great coaches are avoiding this job. Not because they won’t get paid, or politics from the school board, etc… they aren’t excited about it because they can’t seem to hire top assistant coaches.

Why?

Cost of living. It makes total sense too. If I was a coach and making $1M a year, you can maybe buy a $2.5$/$3M house.

The issue is, have you seen what that price range buys you in the nicer areas of LA…(no coach is coming here and moving to Inglewood or Torrance) so the next option is what? San Fernando Valley.. and that’s an hour commute w traffic to the school?)…. So what does $2.7M buy you in LA? Not much, not much at all. Had a friend just buy a place for $4M close to Brentwood. Get this… it’s 1900 sqft, 3 bed 2 bath and it’s 45 years old AND it needs to total make over. Original appliances!

Add in a school President that could give a playing you know what about sports, all the crap and baggage has been involved w the past 5 years, having USC in the middle of the ghetto, and now recruits jumping off the train as it’s about to crash…

We’ll be back, but it’s gonna take a while.

I agree but that is just an excuse IMO. the money USC gets from endowment is in the Billions. Problem is academia and athletics are like the CIA and FBI. They are mutually exclusive. I think the bigger issue it isn't that big of a job anymore. Colin brought up a good point the other day about the PAC 12. Look at the fan base, only 1 stadium in the Pac that is consistently full and that is Oregon. Every where else is a joke. Look at SEC and Big 10 every place is packed. I think coaches around the country are asking themselves do I really want to go somewhere like USC where in LA there are just too many other things to do.
The USC's of the world need to step up their pay that is for sure.

Billions in endowments... use it and bring in a proven winner, big name AD. Are there no ex Trojans in the coaching pipeline anywhere...
Once they start winning , like we are seeing now with the Rams, talent/recruits will want to come.

You're 0- 9-1. They're in FG range. Have your D let them score with 3 or 4 minutes left and hope your O can come back or something.
They ran about 3 or 4 minutes off the clock after they got into FG range. D has to get the stop and make them kick earlier, it's Andy freakin Dalton ffs.... no wonder they are winless. Your D lays that egg with the game on the line...
