Well....you don't have to crawl out of a warm bed at 3 AM and start the smoker by flashlight and have the wife running around like a crazy person barking orders at the slave (that would be me)....I have a moment of peace right now as I convinced her to take a nap...wonder if that was the sleeping pills I put in her coffee...LOL...(just kidding)

Turkey day is my favorite....Smoking a Bone in Ham and a duck, frying a turkey, and grilling Osterich steaks today.

Thanks OC....yea, we had about 15 and have alot of food left over...but Ham will be just fine putting in the freezer as I have already sliced it up. The wife is gonna use the bone for Ham and Bean soup today.

The wife wanted the Ham....I wanted the Turkey......and my brother wanted the duck and Osterich (which was delicious. I grilled it medium rare and it tastes like Filet Mignon but a little more chewey and put some horseradish on it.

The Turkey I will eat sandwiches all weekend.

We invited over anybody we knew that was alone for the Holiday and just got together...I think all had a great time and the Hi-light was watching the Dallas game with my brother, my Brother-in law, and My Marine nephew who I have not seen in about 15-20 years....My nephew and Brother-in-law are both Cowboy fans.....great game and lots of laughing.

sounds awesome. yeah can't believe the Cowboys lost that game. Jerry is so pissed at Amari Cooper I bet he trades him at the end of the year.
